K/R - NAS burgundy sheer top

Received this top the other day. First thing I found was I need to wear a cami as even if not so sheer, the armholes are really big. This is a jr. dept. item, but I like the color and small print.

Okay, seemingly it only goes with this one gray skirt. The banded bottom felt better with the last button undone. I put on a necklace inside the collar line. Lastly, trying to show some movement in the skirt, I tried some alternate poses... have yourselves a good laugh - I did!!!

Seriously, what do you think of this top? Too boxy? Too jr-ish? Too ugly? Shall I send it back??

I also received the Halogen pencil skirt which they have in CAMEL this yr! YAY! Will take some photos of that soon.

You know what? The way you've styled it, I would never know it was a juniors item. I like it with this outfit! The sheerness with the tank gives a nice up-to-date vibe without looking too young. Nice color on you too.

I like the top - it seems fun and playful and maybe a little different than the norm. I could see it paired with a dark wash trouser jean or a white pant. Looks great with grey - pretty combo!

I looked at the pictures before reading your text, and was thinking, "What's going on here?" So funny :D. The top looks good the way you styled it, although it does bother me a little that you have to keep the bottom button open for proper fit. So Keep if you love the top and think you'll want to wear it often, but Return if it doesn't play well with any other item besides the skirt.

I like it! Keeping the bottom button open does not bother me - it looks intentional in the pics, kind of like a blouson or banded hem style. I also think it can pair with more than just the skirt - how about denim? Maybe a denim pencil skirt now and straight leg jeans later? You can also try colored skirts - I like using burgundy as a neutral myself.

Your poses are too cute. I like this top with the grey. I'm also a big fan of banded bottom tops with shorts or cropped trousers.

I don't feel one way or another about the top, I'll let others speak to that. I do, however, LOVE the color on you! That's what I noticed right away!

Have we seen that great little skirt?! I like the blouse with it. How does it fit under a blazer? It would also work with the camel Halogen pencil skirt, I think.

Can you use this blouse in cool weather as a vest / topper? I can see it with pants and a dark long-sleeved jersey or turtleneck, maybe unbuttoned? Just an idea.

Love the skirt! I would never have thought of leaving the bottom button open.

FWIW, my mother shops in the junior's department. And pulls it off beautifully.

I vote for keeping, at least if you can find other bottoms it wants to play with. Fluid black pants, perhaps?
