K/R - Jeans (+ bonus outerwear pic)

I really need some new and better pants/jeans (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....im-dilemma), so I had ordered a few pairs that arrived today. Out of them only these were alright looking. They are a similar cut to my only good pair. The fit is supposed to be baggy, on me they are slightly loose. If they give as much with wear as the other pair they're going to bag out some more, but I don't mind the slight BF vibe.

#1-#2 have the legs unrolled with some slouch. #3-#6 are overexposed so that you can see the details better, with rolled legs out of the box.

What do you think? Should I keep them? I'm a bit desperate at this point, but at the same time I'm still finding it difficult to assess jeans objectively.

#7 is a bonus outerwear WIW, I could wear the new puffer coat today now that winter has finally arrived. I love it! I also think I look really slim wearing it, how's that fo a puffer??

Puffer looks great! I think those diagonal lines do the trick? But you always look slim to me! Jeans appear to fit great.

Thanks Ceit! And yes, it's good to finally get some use out of it. It's great, I was really warm and comfortable. And just like I suspected when I bought it - I stood out of the crowd plenty with the light grey, I don't think I would have been comfortable in the pink.

Thanks Jules! I guess it's because I think a puffer is bulky, so I'm guessing the body beneath has to be slimmer than it is.

Thanks Thistle! Yes, it's always an ordeal. I haven't had the chance to get the puffer grubby yet, so I'm not sure. I do have the blue winter jacket, I guess I'd wear that one in the meantime.

I think the jeans look great on you. Jeans have got to be the hardest thing on the planet to find. These are keepers. You do look like a skinny bean in the puffer...so counterintuitive, but it works!

Astrid - I think the jeans look great on you also. They seem to be a perfect fit on what I can see and the pockets are perfectly positioned and sized, no pulling. Are you unhappy with the way they fit? Are they comfortable? Do they pass the sit test? You seem to be hesitating and since they look so nice on, I was not sure why? Love the puffer!! Very sleek and snug and great hat!! Great look!!

Thanks Gryffin! I'm not unhappy with the fit, I think it's all good. That I'm not enthusiastic about it doesn't mean anything. I know that I'm overly critical about the way I look in pants, so I wanted all of your feedback. I don't think I'm ever going to find a jeans I really love (at least not without changing my mindset).

Absolutely! The jeans are wonderful --- slouchy, but not seriously oversized, modern, but not trendy, with great, simple pockets.

The puffer looks terrific. I love the combo of lightweight and cozy I get when I wear mine!

Yay! I was glad to see that you are keeping the jeans. I didn't understand your hesitation because I think they look so good on you. You said you have a hard time with jeans...do these by chance come in another wash/color? Since the fit is good, maybe think about another pair?
