For years, I wanted to buy some nice linen shirt. I ordered and returned too many and never found the one that I like. Maybe I am not the linen shirt type? They are both size S

I like the green one a bit more, although it does seem a bit big at the shoulders, but perhaps its meant to be a little oversized.

Perhaps you aren't the 'linen shirt type'? I love the green on you, especially tucked in, and I would consider shortening it (It looks great tucked in) The blue seems too big and the color is much less vibrant than what you usually wear. On the other hand, shirts like these are sometimes used like denim jackets in the cool summer. Would you do that? My experience it that I convinced that I AM a linen shirt person, if only I could find the perfect one (I have two. I wear them once or twice a year) So, maybe I am not a linen shirt type either!

These do seem quite long for you. Tucked is better but is it a lot of fabric to tuck? Would you wear these with jeans or another way? They might look different with shorts or skirts.

I prefer the green and I can see it working so nicely in your wardrobe. I love the tuck but it can be wonderful over white jeans as well.

I also like a green one on you. I’m a linen shirt person and have some. Although I wear long and shorter shirts, I think you need to shorten it, it would look more classic and more in your style.

I wear my linen shirts big and tucked like this. VERY BREEZY. Try it knotted over the eyelet skirt!

I vote green! Fab colour on you. Does it have buttons on the back like the blue one? Those would drive me crazy - digging into my back, when leaning against a high-back chair!

Personally, I think linen shirts look good oversized. They crease and become smaller. AND look very classic, as well as very on trend!

Here are mine. I wear them bigger than on the models - but always tucked and scrunched. Over white cropped pants, or long denim shorts! Soooooo summery!

The green print dress, white eyelet skirt, and green linen shirt make a really cohesive grouping I think. Could they be the kernel of a casual summer capsule? (I know you've struggled with summer casual wear in the past.) How do they play with other items already in your wardrobe that could be worn for similar situations?

I like the green linen shirt. The fit looks right; I became a "linen shirt person" last year, and got them a bit oversized compared to other fabrics and styles. Looks great! and with the eyelet skirt.. FAB!

I’m not sure Anchie. They both look really big on you. The green is a better colour on you and I prefer that but overall I am not sure they’re “you”. Not that my opinion matters, LOL.

I think you can make them work if you want to. Where did you see them being worn? I like linen shirts on vacation or to wear to sports matches in the sun - tennis for example. I rarely wear them to work - occasionally with jeans but more often with shorts or loose pants - denim is too hot.

I like the green one knotted with the white skirt. I wear linen shirts in the summer and find them very comfortable. I usually tuck my shirts into my jeans.
