K/R - Esprit package is here

Quick try on session and K/R.
What do you think? Any keepers in this lot? I am still waiting for my BR order to ship, it is almost 10 days now.
Please ignore the mess, my socks and no styling. I just realized that 4 out of 6 items are from Esprit junior line (everything except cullotes and a dress) . Do they look too juvenile? I am most undecided about the dress, that my family doesn’t like at all. Whiskers on the lime pants are ‘built in’. Please help me decide.

My favs on you are the two first finds, plus the lime t-shirt. The other items looks good, but not perfect 10s as the previous three. To my eyes

Sorry, Anchie - but I just don’t like the fit of the skinny lime bottoms. The whiskering is not a nice look.

On the other hand, I like the white bottoms quite a bit - and no ‘show through’ is always good in my books. The striped t-shirt looks fresh with the lime details at neck and sleeve. I like the pink chore coat as well. Seems to fit well in the body, and should layer well. Arms look long, but not overly. You can scrunch, or roll them.

I’m not sure about the dress. I certainly don’t ‘hate’ it. Conservative and office appropriate. You can punch it up with colourful shoes and a great bag. Maybe scrunching the sleeves and white sneakers would knock the ‘serious’ out of it and make it appropriate for non-office wear.

Tend to agree with Synne. I went through your last few WIWs to confirm my gut reaction that the yellow pants aren't crisp enough for you, too casual, maybe too "junior" but ultimately just not good enough for your style! I love the dress in the stock photo, very much my "thing", but the blues look darker in reality (or it may just be your photo, that's for you to judge), and the fit is maybe just a bit large on you, contributing to a slight overwhelming effect in that I see the dress before I see you. Styling might tip the balance, and it's certainly not bad just not amazing. Personally when it comes to a patterned dress with long sleeves etc I want to love it right out of the box, so that I still like it in a few years... because it's a lot of dress and only so much you can do to switch up the styling.

I really love the stripe top on you. Keep! Not sure about the others. The lime color suits you but the lime top is very thin so you'd have to be comfortable with that. And I have a poison eye for whiskers so I can't judge the pants. The dress is hard to judge without seeing it in real life but might work with some bright accessories or a different belt.

My hands-down favorite is #6. The white bottoms and striped top are great. I agree with Runcarla on the look and fit of the lime bottoms. The dress is a nice conservative workplace dress, but it does look a trifle big on you.

Synne - first 2 finds are my favorite, too. Lime top as Elle pointed out is very exposing, so not sure about it.
Runcarla - agree with you about lime bottom, I was attracted by the color, but fit is not the best. I am also unsure about jacket , kind of shapeless, maybe slightly too big? And dress is most likely going back.
Jules - I was kind of looking for more casual things because that is the need that working from home exposed. But I am not after junior look. And dress doesn’t fit me that well, especially in shoulders.
Elle - yes, lime top looks exposing, I can try it with different bra though because I like the color. Whiskers yes, I think lime pants are going back. My family thinks that dress is too serious for me. Not many things left.

Kate - yes, I think consensus is forming that stripped top and white bottoms are only things here worth keeping.

I agree with Carla. Not a fan of the lime jeans at all with that whiskering . Odd placing for it , too. The dress is fine, just not a colour I would have expected for you, but you can certainly brighten it up with shoes , jewellery, bag etc. The chore jacket is nice , just looks a tad big. Favs are the stripe t, white pants, and lime t.

I like white cropped pants and striped tee the best. The lime bottoms are alright if you'd like to play with that bright cheery color more - it works with the trim on the striped tee and the slides that have the same color of the sole ( on the floor behind you ).
The pink chore jacket is needs to be seen with some other pieces ( to see if it fits into your wardrobe easily ). I send back one similar in style - didn't love the boxy feel on me.
I like the dress but it needs something - some white footwear, jewelry, rolled sleeves, maybe belt in fun color ( outfit lab? ). I think it has a lot of potential.

lisa p - very helpful. White pants are definite keepers. I like stripe and lime t, not sure about the fit. One feels slightly too big, other slightly too clingy. Every thing else is becoming very clear that it should go back. I can do better.

slim cat - LOL, I had to look for the slides, it’s my husband’s. But we can match too. I was looking for blush jacket, I think will work with my wardrobe, but don’t think that this is the one. Not sure if ordering jacket and dress in smaller size is worth it.

I love the white/cream pants, striped top and pink chore jacket. Might be worth trying a smaller size in the jacket, since I do like the color on you. Lime top is a great color, but the material looks a bit thin. Personally, I'd wear a different bra under the lime top, but that's more about my comfort zone. I love the dress, but it doesn't quite fit with my sense of the usual colors and style that you wear- great piece, but perhaps for someone else.

Kathie - I am with you on the lime top. I am low on bras at the moment. The one that has more padding is black, so will not work either. I am most torn about pink jacket. I like the color a lot, but not the fit. Maybe smaller size is solution?

Re: the thin lime tee. I recently discovered nude seamless padded bras. They are a game changer!

Suynne - I should be actually shopping for bras, because I have only 2 currently. But I hate shopping for bras. Not fun. What brand is that?

This one is from a domestic brand in my country (Cubus). But I'm sure they can be found elsewhere! Very of the moment Kardashian-inspired fashion I presume

I like the stripes, white pants, and dress best. I really like the pink jacket, too, but it looks more 'relaxed' than what I have seen you in before - it looks like it fits in the shoulder and body, but maybe the sleeves are where it looks big to me. Cuff them, maybe?

Caveat - I am no expert on fit.

My first instinct was for you to keep the striped tee and white pants. I see most others agree.

The only item I think is worth keeping are the wide crops in #6, and maybe the top in #2.

I like the tee in #1, but the neckline does not lie flat.

The rest is off in ft. Next!

Based on all the feedback I decided to keep cropped pants only. And Angie just confirmed that everything else needs to go. I hope I will have a better luck with BR order if it ever arrives here.

More love for the white pants. Striped t looks good if you need one. Not a fan of the dress on you— seems off in shoulder fit and color somehow not great. Ix-nay on the lime items.
Sounds like you’re sorted! Not a bad percentage given the difficulty of assessments online.
I sympathize, as I had not planned to have to forego almost all in- store “ retail research” , and I have such trouble with sizing and fits online.

The rest is not quite right for various reasons. Blue and white stripes are relatively easy to find (I hope!)

I like the white pants and the lime top. I do like the jacket but it looks too big and I really like the striped top but I do now see that the neck doesn't lay flat . I have exactly the same problem with a top and I need to pass it on.

The white crop jeans are cute and fit you well. The pink jacket, while a great color on you, seems to be a bit too large. Take a pass on the blue dress. It just seems too conservative and somber for you. The lime pants with the whiskering and the lime top aren't my favorites, but I like the striped top.

The outfit in #6 is my favorite. You look good in a lot of things but might as well be extremely fussy and look perfect!
