K/R - Dark floral Dress

I ordered three dresses (see previous post for other two dresses) because I really didn't think all three would fit. I don't usually have great luck when ordering online. However, all three dresses fit and now I have to decide which one I like the best. Here's the last one which came in yesterday.

Try to ignore the lack of styling. I will wear black tights/hose with either boots/booties/pumps so neither of the shoes in these pictures are quite right.

What do you all think?

Can you only keep one? I like this one and the laser cut from the other post. But if I had to choose between the two, I would go for the laser cut dress. It's very unique, and I love black.

Oooh, that print! I love it.

I just went and looked at your previous post. I think I'd probably go with the laser cut one for the event, as it's more dramatic and unique and reads as more dressy to me. On the other hand, I think this one would be more versatile, like you could probably dress it down for more casual events as well.

I love it when my photographer cracks me up. Your hubby took these as well as the others, right? You have the same smile on.

Where is the crossed arms picture in this dress? Just kidding. Crossing your arms makes you look closed off and unapproachable. And in the black/gold sleeves on the laser cut dress, it makes you look like a samuri master contemplating your next action. Don't do that at a party--unless you're playing charades. If your hubby catches you doing it, he should fold his hands together and give you a little bow so you laugh and unfold.

Seriously, that dress is the best of the lot.

Maybe this one or laser cut one , both are perfect on you. This one is more versatile.

Can you keep two? This one and the laser cut one. I thought it was lovely, and this one is fun.

You are all saying what I was thinking - the laser cut dress is more dramatic and party-ish. However, I like this floral one better than the polka dot dress and I think it's more practical (but should a party dress be practical?). Angie thought the laser cut dress was a bit short but my tolerance for short hemlines is generally higher than most of the forum (almost every time someone posts that a dress/skirt is too short I think "What? No, it looks fine"). Plus, I don't mind a shorter length for a party dress and I think I have nice legs.

This is my favorite- but I was in the minority on the first two, and thought the polka dot one was better than the laser cut. Good luck choosing! You truly can’t go wrong with any of them.

Oh, I love this dress.. and all the ways you have styled it. It has a current vibe with the dark floral and really looks great on you. I saw the other two, but think this one is the best of the bunch....

This one is definitely my fave. As far as length, you have truly fab legs, I'd say show them off while you can! I found the sleeves a bit much maybe on the laser cut but I think influenced by my one top with dramatic sleeves that I have found annoying- so I am put off by that experience.

These dresses are all fab. But I vote for the laser cut if you have to pick just one -- it's SUPER fab.

I agree with you Sara about the length, you are young and have nice legs and wear short dress, I am with you absolutely.

This one is lovely too (and keeper if you can afford to keep two!), but I think I prefer the laser cut one.

I also like the laser cut dress a lot. I like this one too, in another way - less dramatic, more “wearable”, not only party and fun. A tough call...
FWIW, I like the short length on you, it suits you.

Well, I love the dark floral. The laser cut dress looks a bit more night time special occasion-ish. But this one would get more wear in my closet.

This one is so fun - and way more "practical" in terms of the sleeves. You look great in all of them, so which one makes you want to find a party to wear it to?

Three lovely dresses, with three different purposes to my mind. The laser cut for dressing up at night, the floral for dressing up by day and the polka dot for smart everyday wear. I would be tempted to keep all three. If that is not practical, send the polka dot one back and keep the other two.

Oh, yes! This dress was made for you! The laser cut is beautiful and party worthy, it’s true. This dark floral is not as dramatic, but still going to be a great choice for a party and I predict will be worn more often than the laser cut. No matter which you choose, you will look fab while enjoying the party and holding your drink!

I just checked out your previous post and I think I like this one the best. The others are really nice too but personally I would find the sleeves on the laser-cut one a bit much and the dotted one is a little too blah maybe. This one is current, has fun sleeves and print. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them though.
