I posted another pair of oxfords for feedback, but I ordered these too and thought I'd get your opinions.

I LOVE the metallic, and they are very comfortable. Not as breathable as the mesh ones I posted, but the upside is that these would transition into cooler weather better. These aren't quite as unique as the PLV's but I still like them.

I'm tempted to keep these regardless of what I do with the PLV's.

I like the shape of the shoe and the idea of metallics but these are way shiny and bright. I'm not sure I love them but I know they are on-trend.

Meredith, actually the pictures look much shinier than they are IRL. I ruled out a lot of cool oxfords because they were too shiny! These are a little softer, which I like.

Very cool. It's always helpful to see them styled but I have a feeling these metallics will be more versatile than you thought. Born shoes are comfy and well-made. And look good, obviously. Probably a keeper.

I like these a lot. I sort of wish they had a teensy bit of a heel (3/4-1"), but maybe you want a true flat?

Ah, I was going to mention the shine, also. Can we see them in an outfit? I find it very had to judge shoes without seeing the rest of the body.

I tried them on at Nordstrom Rack a couple of weeks ago, and loved them. You're right that the metallic is much softer and less shiny than in your photos. They were ultra-comfy too - much more supportive than very flat shoes tend to be, and very soft. I regret not getting them, but I had other priorities that day. In other words, keep, keep, keep!

I like these! Much better than the perforated ones. I was actually considering them too but ultimately decided to get the arlettas in gold instead because these are too flat for comfort for me.

I like the Arlettas too! I decided to try these because I wanted a flat, slim shoe that wouldn't look too masculine on my narrow feet. I want to wear them with skirts and shorts.

I just put them on to show to my husband, and he immediately gave a big thumbs up, and in fact said, "Why don't you wear them right now with what you have on?" So I cut the tag and am wearing them now, with a black, red and white patterned pencil skirt, white tee, and bold silver necklace. So the Borns win!
