A few Keep or returns. I am really looking for 9.5 or 10s at this point, so be brutally honest with me on these Okay, honest at the very least.

Pic 1-2 - Angie's Pick Born Sandals. I think these are keepers. The gold color is pale and somewhat close to a nude for me.

Pic 3-5 - A Nic and Zoe dress and white blazer. The dress is super comfortable, but I am not sure it is flattering or current. I tried a white blazer in a plus size, but I think it might be too big. DH, unprompted, said I should try a size smaller. This is the smallest size.

Pic 6-7 - Vince Camuto baseball jacket from Angie's picks. Fab jacket. The material is scrumptious, but I feel like it might be too sporty for my style. It is also a bit more cropped on me than the model, and I am not sure it is long enough to work with trousers.

I think these all look great! I like the dress best with a topper. You might try scrunching the sleeves on the jacket, even though they're not full length. I LOVE the baseball jacket! And your pedicure.

Keep those sandals Thistle - they look fantastic on your lovely legs.
I agree with your DH - white blazer looks too big.
The Vince jacket..hmmm I like the fit, also like the brightening effect of the white, but agree with you that it seems to short with these bottoms. I wonder how it would look with a black topper instead of the blue? Or different bottoms? Or a dress?
I like the dress on you - I think it's a great length, and looks so comfortable! But I'm not a dress person - so maybe take my thoughts with a grain (or 2) of salt...

Shoes: 10.5
Dress: 10 for the colour and pattern but just an 8 for overall fit and effect
Jacket: I actually like it on you, not too sporty, I think it verges on 10 territory.I actualy think that if it were longer it might be too baggy. Try with a dress.

Shoes are a 10!!!

I like the dress and jacket as well. The jacket is a 10 when worn buttoned; fits you perfectly in the shoulders, everywhere! Open, it does look like there's extra fabric but herein lies the dilemma with jackets.

Sorry I was talking about the white jacket, not the baseball jacket. The baseball jacket looks too short, although it's just right every where else. So the baseball jacket is the only thing I would return.

Love the shoes on you. Born can be so comfortable and these will go with so many summer outfits. The fit of the white blazer just isn't right for you, it looks both too large and a little dated to my eye.

The dress looks comfortable. It is not my very favorite on you and I have to say, that is probably a reflection of how many stunning dresses you have posted previously and how you are firmly directed to 9.5+ choices. It looks good, but the print and perhaps the fabrication just don't have your usual wow factor. Could also be the colors, though hard to tell on the computer. Not mad for the red band at the bottom for some reason.

I like the concept of the baseball jacket, but it is a departure from your usual style direction and agree that the length is awkward with the trousers. Maybe pull the elements from it that work for you to refine your search for a versatile jacket that advances your goals.

I am taking notes from your focus on only adding the best things to your wardrobe. You are really building a solid closet.

I love the sandals. Unqualified keep, in my opinion. They are so flattering to your foot and ankle, they look comfy (are they?), and I agree with your point that they are almost-nude for you. Love your pedicure, too!

I really like the dress on its own. Beautiful fit, fun print, and the colors are very pretty on you. Is that your style of print? I recall the rain-something print of a Nic and Zoe top being spectacular on you; this one seems quite a different feel, almost boho-like. Just asking, to help you determine whether it's in you 9.5-10 category.

I hesitate on the white jacket. It does look like a good fit in the shoulders. But I see a little wrinkling in the chest area and at the waist, as if it's a little too roomy in those places. I do like it over the dress, buttoned.

I like the baseball jacket on you: the lines, the color, the fun of it. Somehow, it's not striking me as a 9 or 10 the way it's styled here, though, and I'm not sure why. I think a flowy top hanging below, rather than a fitted knit top, might work better. Or a flowy top semi-tucked, if you do that. Or pop it over a skirt, a la Angie. How does it look over the dress? I wouldn't give up on it, because it's a really neat piece, and I can see it working for you. It doesn't look too casual, per se, to me, because I can see you dressing it up or down. I see it as more playful than casual.

The gold sandals do look like a nude with your skin tone. If they're comfy then keep. Are you wearing silver polish on your toes? Way to mix your metals!

I like the dress. I think I remember that you have a red belt? That would look cute.

I'm not sure about the white blazer. It does look a smidge big in the shoulders. I do think scrunching the sleeves would look nice.

Luv the baseball jacket! I have a feeling that it would look FAB with that dress.

I have to chime back in about the bomber. To my eye, the shorter length works very well on your body type with the jeans, Thistle. A 10. So on trend!

Good old AJ has got you started with wearing it over dresses and skirts. I vote try over your pencils first

Thistle, I just have to chime in here too. I love the bomber on you, I think the length works perfectly with your shape. I will look forward to seeing it styled over dresses and skirts. Those shoes are an 11 .

The only fit problem I see is the white jacket at the waist - is it possible to have it taken in a little?

I love the sandals. I like the bomber (and was going to suggest trying it with the dress too). Have you tried the bomber with any of your full skirted items (or is that too Grease?)

I love the baseball jacket and your flats!! I think you'll get a lot of wear out of both of them.

I have limited love for the white jacket though - I think your DH is right and you could possibly size down (unfortunately not possible, right?) and I agree that a sleeve scrunch would be cute. Do you love it enough to get it tailored?

The dress is good, but like you, I'm not sue I find the pattern all that current. The color is very nice though. I think the blazer looks good, but yes maybe the fit is not a total 10.

The baseball jacket looks good to me and the fit looks good, but personally I'm not so into this sporty look, but if you like it I think it fits and looks good!

Those sandals are a 100% keep! Of the other items I actually like the baseball jacket best especially since you can wear it to work and also as a casual item.

Agree the sandals are keepers and you do have beautiful feet! I like the VC baseball jacket and hope you keep that also. The dress is good but the jacket does not fit quite right in this pictures. Overall you did great!

I love the sandals. I have the same pair coming to me this week; I hope they will be keepers. They look lovely on you!

I also like the dress and the bomber; both are 10's in my book.

Not crazy about the white jacket. Too big, I think.

Love the shoes, love the dress and LOVE that bomber jacket on you. The white blazer looks great over that dress, but there is something about the fit of the blazer that has me second-guessing it a wee bit. Beautiful colour on you, and it looks amazing over that dress (colour-wise), but ...maybe your husband is right, and that you need to try a size down? Is a size down available though?

If not - never fear - you could keep this jacket and wear it with sleeves scrunched up with jeans, other pants or pencil skirts - does that make sense?

A couple of years ago, "boyfriend blazers" were all the rage, and the trick to making it work was to pair it with casual items and/or closer-fitting items. I guess what I'm saying is don't give up on the blazer just yet, especially if you can't actually get a size smaller.

Can you try the cream blazer with jeans, dress pants, and/or a pencil skirt to really put it through it's paces and see if it's a keeper after all?

Meanwhile - I think you did really well - very fab!

Don't send it back just yet, because the colour is delicious on you.

The vote on the sandals is unanimous, right? They look 11/10 on you!

I think I like a larger, more dramatic print on you, but I'm trying to figure out if maybe my own personal preference re prints is coloring my view. Also, how something like that looks IRL can be different. . .

The jacket doesn't thrill me. I think I'm learning that a piece such as a white jacket that theoretically *goes* with everything doesn't necessarily *add* anything, and that a more unexpected color may contribute more and actually go with more than one would think. That's what I learned with my orange blazer last summer.

The bomber looks great on you, but only you can decide if you will reach for it if you keep it. The style is a more masculine than your usual look, plus you don't wear some but not a ton of black and white. Would you consider wearing it in place of a white blazer? Too OTT for work even if worn with a pencil skirt?

I'd try the baseball jacket with a black top underneath and black bottoms, or a navy top underneath and your dark denim jeans. So. Very. Cool. Thistle! I think you look *great* in it!

Oy, yes on the shoes! And I echo Runcarla on the bomber -- I was thinking of the playground too, and on mixing with your pencils. It's true that sporty isn't your main style, but a little touch of the unexpected here and there can really give us a style boost.

I think the dress and jacket are good, but not as terrific as some of your recent purchases.

I love the sandals. I like the dress very much but IMO it is not a 9.5. The white jacket is okay. I may be biased because two years ago I bought a white linen blazer and after one wear (for Easter Sunday) it became an orphan no matter how hard I tried to work with it. I think I'll pass on commenting on the bomber because I can't stand how I look in them and I don't think I really get the look! You are reminding me too that it's time to start going for 10s. I have plenty of clothes to wear while I wait for the great pieces.
