Are these things too young/OTT for me? They might be a bit too glam/trendy for me.

1/2/3 - Golden Lane clutch. https://www.shopbop.com/small-.....100353.htm. Quite small and maybe a bit to glam except for when I go to the Opera.

4/5 -- Tom Binns earrings. http://www.shopbop.com/rave-ra.....206861.htm. They go well with my (picture 5) McQ leather bracelet. They seem more shiny/blingy than pictured but I sort of like them. But do they work with my age/wrinkles?

6/7 -- Marc Jacobs tote. http://www.shopbop.com/olive-a.....321982.htm. The cartoonish nature and big brand name presence feels a bit young. I don't like being a brand advert.

I love the clutch and earrings. I like the subdued colours and on-trend foldover shape of the clutch. The earrings are cool and a nice size for you, IMO.

The tote I am not sure about - it looks super casual. Maybe for the beach?

I like the bag, but do you need a new opera clutch? The earrings are unlike anything I've seen - I like them too. Pass on the bag if only because of the brand advertising, though the graphics are fun.

I think you could pull off all of these easily so if you love 'em go for it.

Funny, we are same age I believe, and I have been looking at colour block clutches, McQ scarf with razor blade pattern and leather bracelets this week!

And the earrings and cuff are very cool. I had to look closer before I read the description...razor blades...cool!

The totes are fun but my preference would be for something plain. I recall seeing black fabric totes by Rick Owens...just a suggestion

I like the dog cartoon on the bag, but the whole thing reads pretty young. Though it may work with your boho stuff. Hmm

Please keep what you love and enjoy. Life is short. I could see the clutch and earrings with jeans and the bag with a dressy outfit. Personally I'd turn that darling bag into a sofa cushion or frame it to enjoy the graphics daily.

Love the clutch and the earrings! Zero to worry about with those, I think. I think the uniqueness and craftsmanship of the earrings makes them look artsy-luxurious and not young.

The tote... I'd pass for myself. Would you be using as a handbag?

The clutch is gorgeous! You could wear it with jeans as well as fancy outfits.

The earrings are fine and a nice match to your bracelet. Kitty is precious.

Dog cartoon is quirky. How do you plan on use it? I don't like the logo though.

That clutch is sensational! Please keep it. Maybe you won't use it a huge amount, but it will add so much joy when you do.

I also like the earrings. They're very pretty with your hair - the shape is nice on you.

I am unsure about the tote. The graphic is fun...but what is the purpose of this bag in your life? I mean....do you have outfits you want to make with it, or a need for this kind of bag? If it's a need, this one might not be the most practical.

Killer earrings too.

Although the bag reads a little "childish", if it had a Yorkie on it, it would be mine (and I'd be stealing it from you). A completely emotional thing that is illogical and not the best "style decision" if you know what I mean. But some things are beyond that.

I want to make a second vote to keep the tote! It's so funny! I think because it's just a nylon tote you can use it for super casual things. I have tons of totes for grocery bags, when I go to the farmers market, take DS to swim class, bring lunch or clothes to work, etc. So fun!

Raisin yes it was intended as a shopping tote. In CA they are discouraging shopping bags, in many cities it's 10 cents for a bag which is no big deal but I am trying to get into the spirit. It seems one can never have enough tote bags.

But as much as I hear you on the "fun" thing I feel it's a little too young for me. Or maybe it really needs a Lab or a Border Collie for me to be happy.

I think that they all work for you. The clutch is beautiful - the earrings are a great color and shape for your hair/face - and the tote is great for groceries! I would love carrying it into Whole Foods and filling it with all kinds of goodies.

Just wanted to chime back in to say the tote would be fun to hold shopping. Where I live most places charge for plastic bags too. I have a stash of colorful nylon reusables and they always make me smile.

FWIW, I love all of them. The clutch is stunning, and it doesn't look overly small. It's beautiful. I also love the earrings (and the bracelet!). And as a nylon shopping tote, I think the bag is quirky and fun. It isn't as though you intend to use it as a handbag or carry it formally, so have some fun!

I'm not a fan of the totes, but that's just cause I'm not...nothing to do with young or not young. The other things really look like your style and look great! I don't them them as defined by any age.

I like the clutch and the earrings too. :^) I think that if you don't like being a brand advert, then you had better pass on the bag. It seems like the tote might be pretty limited in usage--the clutch would maybe be also, but at least the clutch design is timeless and can be used indefinitely.

Catnip: my kitty (Roxy, 12) loves catnip. She loves it so much I have been able to (mostly) train her away from scratching my box spring, to using the "double wide" scratching box. She has 2 of them, and, er, needs the double wide.
