Hi, Everyone.

Been a very long time since I posted anything.

Need some advice. I'm noticing a lot more boot cut and flare jeans around here now, and thought about the 70s vibe of wearing knee high boots under the jeans. I have several pairs, most with about 4 inch heels.

How best to wear them under jeans?

You can wear what you like under bootcut and wide leg jeans - full length, or flared! As long as you're comfortable, and like where the hem length finishes

Or maybe I'm not understanding the question....

Sorry for not explaining this better. Curious about hem length. Should the jeans be as close to the floor without bucking on the top of the boot toe? I've seen some women where you can see the outline of the boots under the jeans, and wondering your thoughts on that, also.

These days, there is a range of fashionable full lengths, that end at different places on the shoe.

Full lengths vary from hems that graze the vamp or top of the shoe, right the way through to sweeping the ground at puddle length. The former showcases most of the shoe on the foot. The latter covers the shoe. Everything in-between is a deliberate length too. This is regardless of hem width.

Take your pick!

I like them full length best- with the hems just an inch or so from the floor. The boot outline under the pants never bothered me.

Wear them the way they work best for you and your climate. We get lots of snow and I try to keep pants and jeans dry so wear the boots on top most to keep pants dry .
