Just checking in. Been busy with new job since the beginning of April
After our devastating loss in March, we are ready to bring another kitty into our family. We have been applying with various rescue orgs, and visited some little ones at a home this week. It’s hard now, with most animals fostered and not in one place where you can play with 10 kittens and see who chooses you.
Here are photos of a few available cats in a 90 mile radius of where we live. I want them all but we will have to pick.
Enjoy the cuteness! Will update with news. Most likely: #1 - we've been approved but not met him, or # 4 (Simba! so cute)- visiting tomorrow. I adored the one I'm holding but he is not in a proper foster home, and the situation is sketchy.
If anyone is thinking about getting a kitten, now is a great time. Lots out there who need loving homes. In fact, the bonded pair in #3 are truly precious and won't be separated. They are in Edgewood, MD - if any Fabbers are interested and in the area let me know. Dude and Donnie!
UPDATE: we chose Simba! Pics 5-7. He will come home with us on Friday. This week is going so slowly....We visited his foster home and played with him for an hour last weekend. Big energy, and super sweet. We can’t wait! (We will probably pick a new name- working on it - see my comments further down - I'm taking ideas!)
