Has anyone perused Kiki Magazine? It is aimed at the 11-14 set from what I can from their website. DD saw it at grocery store today and wanted it but I told her we would look for it later - last time I bought her an unknown mag it turned out to be too mature for her.
This looks very fashion and creativity oriented which I am fine with. She doesn't need the classic teen mag stuff - boys, dating, dieting/negative body image etc. as she is 11 in July. I think she's mature enough for early discussions but her father would flip. Luckily he never read Judy Blume as a boy!
If anyone has feedback on the magazine or anything similar let me know - I might pick it up as surprise this week and get her a subscription if it seems to have positive messages.
