I was gathering some old clothes to donate. I still had some maternity items (Ack! My youngest is 6!) and some of the shirts had removable shoulder pads. I was attaching the shoulder pads back on when my 6 yr. old walked in and asked me what they were. I showed her how they can come off and she asked why. So I explained that everyone's body is different and that some women have bigger hips and small shoulders so they want to balance the way their body looks. Then I explained that my shoulders are bigger than my hips so I took off the shoulder pads. Then my daughter grabs the shoulder pads and says, "So you can put it on your hips!" and she proceeded to put them on her hips. Oh that was a precious moment!
