Ha, I feel you. I respect everyone's right to wear what they want, and I truly hope her choices make her happy. But she does kind of scream "boring, basic celebrity icon" to me. I had no idea who she was until she popped up on Pinterest a few months ago, and I only recognized the last name because of the whole Caitlyn Jenner thing earlier that year (and I only knew who Caitlyn Jenner was because her name was suddenly everywhere; I'd never heard of Bruce Jenner before). Goes to show how closely I pay attention to celebrity hype. But once I saw her on Pinterest, she was everywhere, and there was going back. I much prefer to get my style ideas from bloggers and people who aren't necessarily closely associated with fashion, because I find they make more practical choices that work for everyday situations (and if they're plus size, I can go buy what they're wearing if I like it enough!).
