Keep/Return Threads - do you ever not post them?

Just out of curiosity, are there times when you buy a new item that you deliberately NOT post a Keep/Return for because you love it so and you don't want to hear any potential negatives?

I'll be honest - the trousers I wore yesterday (the tweed front slouchy ones) and bought from Sears. I knew I loved them and had no intention of posting a K/R. That's how sure I was of them.

I almost never return anything so I never post K/R! Haha...and I end up taking a few weeks before I post any items (like my new blazer) and usually it's too late for a return anyway. But yes, I think for me I would only be posting the items I wasn't sure about. If I loved it from the beginning I wouldn't post a K/R because I know it won't be everyone's style.

I try and only post a K/R if I feel I need or want the input. I don't want to waste everyone's time with each and every purchase I make. I am more likely to not post one if it's something I know is a miss. Like my Miss Sixty taupe dress that fit so poorly.

Yep! If I'm truly in love, I don't want anyone raining on my parade, and I really don't care what others think. I mostly post K/Rs when something is new to me or I feel like something is off.

Ahhhhh....interesting.....so do you think your K/R threads become less and less the more confident you become in your style?

I tend to only post too when I want outside feedback on something. If it is something I love, and was going to keep anyhow despite any comment, then I wouldn't post it....it would appear in a WIW

Yeah, I only K/R if I'm on the fence. Otherwise I go with my gut.

I do think confidence will lead to fewer k/r threads.

I don't post them if I know for sure I am keeping or sending back. It's when I'm not sure of fit, flattery, or how to style that I bring it here.

Totally do this. Recent examples are my Andrew Marc Coat and Gidigio boots. I won't post when I know I'm going to return, either.

Yeah, I only do K/Rs if I am on the fence about the fit or styling, if I'm afraid I have Sugar Eye for something (like the teal leather jackets), or if it's a big ticket purchase (like wedding dresses). I don't post them for things I know i am keeping (like the brocade jeans) or things that are terrible or don't even fit. I always like feedback, but it's mostly out of laziness that I don't post these.

K. Period.

I only post when I'm undecided. Most things I don't bother to post. It is only the piece here and there that has me torn that gets a k/r post. Most of the time I know in my gut what I'm going to do with those k/r items, but I need the extra push of folks in the forum saying yeah, or more often nay, to get me to do it.

I only post when I'm not sure about something - which isn't very often. I can usually tell right away whether I love it or hate it. I don't shop very often either so my K/R posts are pretty rare.

Sure. I only post if I'm not sure or trying to decide between multiple different options. I have recently bought without showing you:

Red hobo purse
Three sparkly t-shirts
One long sleeved top that I wasn't intending to keep but my husband LOVED it
Black straight leg jeans
Red skinny jeans

Both pairs of jeans, the red purse and one of the sparkly t-shirts have been workhorses for me. Especially with the jeans, it is hard to judge how well they fit via photo and I like them so didn't feel the need to post a K/R.

Srsly, I have several items that have not been posted as K/R - sometimes I just know they are right or fill a hole, and sometimes I am just being sneaky.

What the others have said: I post K/Rs if it's outside my ability to tell.

Stuff like basics or things safely in my comfort zone: no need to bust out the camera and write a post. Things that are iffy on fit or are outside my comfort zone: post a K/R!

For a lot of different reasons actually but two that come to mind are:
1. If I totally love it but everyone around me and even in the dressing room says I don't think so (black white and red flowered blouse with ruffles)
2. If I'm wondering about fit even if I know the answer and am probably going with the wrong one (sweater coat between two sizes and went with the larger)

i don't post a lot of k/rs. in general, i tend to be decisive. i post when it's a really expensive item and i'm not totally sold. when i am feeling insecure about my ability to choose appropriately (usually when i go on shopping binges and lose perspective). those times, k/rs are super helpful.

I also don't post many K/Rs -- only when I am indecisive or curious as to general reaction. Sometimes I am blinded by the "Sugar Eye" (love the term) and would like a reality check
