Ordered a knitted sweater that I thought could be good for winter, beginning of next year when I'll probably be a bit bigger! But I'm not sure if I should keep it?

I ordered a size up, so it's a bit big at the moment, but I'm sure I'll fill it within the coming months! (Due early March) My main concern is the colour... I like this rusty colour, it's such a cosy autumn/winter colour, but I'm not sure if it's for me? I tried wearing it with a dark purple scarf but not sure if it helps...

Would love your honest opinions on this! I'd rather return it and find something else. (And winter is very mild here so far so don't need this urgently! Ordered it now because I had a 15% discount)

Then I added what I'll wear tomorrow for the office Christmas party! We'll stay at the office and it's a very relaxed environment. I've had this dress for years and mainly wear it around Christmas, and am happy it works even with my growing tummy!

Tried it with a skinny brown belt, black leggings and brown boots. Does it work? (I feel a bit like an elf wearing these shoes! )

(I rarely wear make up for work but tomorrow I'll make some effort with make up and hair, so you can imagine that )

--- Sorry, realised now that the picture quality is quite poor, so it's not easy to comment on whether the rusty colour suits me or not! I'll try to take another picture in daylight on Saturday. Living in the north of Sweden we now only have daylight from around 8 am-3 pm, so it's not easy to take good pics when you're working during the days! ---
