Keep/Return: Orange/Red Tsubo Sneaker Wedges

These are the same "model" as the tan ones but in a peppier color. Does the color save them? Or are they still stuck in frumpsville? These are sooooooo COMFY!

Hi Kappy, this is the first of your posts that I have seen. I think the orange is much more fashionable than a tan color would be. Off to check out your other threads...

Ooo these are my favourites, they look like wedge trainers which I keep seeing about. The grey ones are ok too but the tan ones do look like they are veering into frumpsville which is daft I know because they are the same shoes just in different colours! X

Well I am a sucker for orange so these would be my pick for sure. I think they would look great with blue or white jeans. Maybe capris or long shorts - you'd have to try them out to see how the silhouette worked.

I guess I would wear them with jeans. I could try them with some denim clamdiggers too.

I think they're pretty cool, but kellygirl's question of what you're wearing them with is the key. I don't love them with the black pants, but I always avoid orange and black for Halloween reasons. But I think they'd look pretty cool with the jeans you mention. What about a skirt? I say keep them experiment with the right combinations because comfort is so important and they weren't too expensive.

I don't think it will matter, but these aren't black pants but dark wash jeans (James Jeans straight legs).

Orange is trending now, isn't it! I do like these a lot more than the brown ones. I'm Team Low Contrast so I think I automatically gravitate to more neutral colors. These would be fun for spring and summer though. The grey ones might be kind of dull for summer....

I just posted on your clamdiggers thread. I haven't seen you in the tan ones but wanted to mention I'm stalking them too.

I think people on this board can be overly hungup on footwear being plain, boring or frumpy. To me a shoe is supposed to play with the rest of your outfit and neutrality can be just what you need for that. I think I could do a lot with the tan ones (slightly orthopaedic vibe being a tongue-in-cheek part of the look).

I think these boots are marching in the opposite direction from Frumpsville! I really like these as statement shoes, if that's what you're after --- and I don't even like orange.

That said, I liked the grey ones too (I'm very partial to blue, so that slate-y shade attracts me) and are more versatile, somewhere between neutral and coloured depending on what's next to them. And the tans would look great with more colourful pants, if that's your preference, but I suspect they would be more versatile if just a bit darker --- they looked more cream/stone than tan to me in your other thread, and for that reason may be harder to work with.

These shoes look like such fun! Yes, get them since you know they are comfy. I will live vicariously thru you since they would be too narrow for me. The beige lacks flair -- and I am Ms. Practical.
