Well, you look great! I think the pink touches, especially the earrings, make it an *outfit* if you know what I mean. Hair is looking terrific too.

I hear you — I hate Walmart and only go to one when it’s the only option. Usually when I’m on the road in rural areas.

Until yesterday, when I found It at CVS, Walmart was the only place I’d found toilet paper since this whole thing started. I’m not a Walmart lover either but they sure seem to have a robust supply chain.

Love to hear about the woman wearing stilettos!

Those are super-cute leggings, and I enjoy the slouchy-top-with-straps-showing look. I can't help it. The Flashdance ideal was imprinted on my brain at a young age.

We went to Target yesterday, just for an order pickup, and it felt like a huge adventure.

I love that Flashdance look too - lol. My secret fashion shame

Looks dancer-ish to me too May try the brow dying thing too- it scares me a bit though!
Walmart is the worst, though a neccesary evil sometimes :/ Trying to stick to small shops with less people going in.

Just did my eyebrows this morning and it worked perfectly!

I'm staring at the Just for Men boxes on walmart.ca and trying to decide if I'm a light-medium or medium. Hmmm. LOL Will probably give this a go because life is too damned boring at this point.

Next up: boxed highlights . Frosted tips

I despise WalMart! The only way that I will buy anything there is if I am sure that they lose money on the transaction. As you may guess, I am seldom at WalMart. The same is true for a nearby grocery that fired my teenage daughter the day before she qualified for benefits.

Gretchen, I tried the same trick as your “princess” with similar results. I moved to Colorado on two different occasions for jobs lasting less than a year. Each time, I took only my small purse. I determined to set up housekeeping by buying everything after I arrived, including even a car. I got away with it the first time, sort of. My wardrobe was quite nice. Shop till I drop in Denver...WOOHOO!! My grown daughter was appalled when I showed her, years later, the dump of an apartment that I rented. The second time I rented a really nice furnished house and she approved of it. I put together a great wardrobe again (great fun and hey, when I look fab, everything else falls into place!), but buying that car was too much adventure even for me.

Reading the description of your 'random oversize black t-shirt thing' that you bought from a garden centre, I wasn't quite sure what to expect lol. But YLF! I like the curved hem (think it's called a shark bite or handkerchief hem right, when it's longer at the sides like that?)

The earrings are terrific too - they look like they'd be really lightweight & comfortable in your ears whilst still making a statement. My kind of impact, although I can't comment on their suitability for Walmart (I've heard many mythical things about it but never actually been in one, even when stateside - what makes it any different to say, Kroger or any other American supermarket, lol?

Zaeobi - ha - I didn't know how else to describe that top. The aforementioned garden centre has a fantastic women's clothing boutique in it, and I buy a lot of things there. Occasionally I buy something weird, and this was one of them. It's actually a cocoon/hi-low shape yoga coverup . Walmart is American but it crept into Canada about a decade ago (maybe longer - I can't remember ) . It's more than a supermarket: it's a gigantic mass market retailer owned by an American family with abysmal socio-political views . One of those "hate-shop" experiences. The clientele are all over the place economically , too.

Very chic and comfortable too. Stay safe when going to Wal*Mart.

Dang, lisa p - way to raise the bar. I've been telling myself that my ridiculously shaggy pixie is fine, and here you go with self-cut hair that looks fab. Plus a polished outfit. Sheesh. You, JAIleen and Astrid are going to get me in trouble with the scissors.

I too have white brows. And I haven't tinted in ages. But one word - Refectocil. you don't need to buy the developer if you have regular household hydrogen peroxide around. It what my esthetician used when I got them done regularly. I usually mix 2/3 light brown #3.1 with 1/3 medium brown #3 and leave on brows for longer than the recommended (I think I do about 15 minutes) as my hair doesn't take dye well. Then just wipe it off with a tissue. The light brown is pretty good by itself initially but doesn't last long unless I mix in the medium. I have purchased on Amazon. The next time you are in the shower, scrub brows gently with a soft wash cloth and it comes off the skin pretty easily.

Haha - Karen - this pic is of unwashed 2nd day hair blown all crazy with the wind . I don’t normally style it this way And thanks for the tip re eyebrow dyeing . I’m pretty pleased with the results I got - but always up for something new and improved .
