I gave myself a promise this year - wear the most out of your clothes. Some items are loved but do not see the light of day often, sometimes not at all. I default to what is easy to wear and care for. Case is point - this linen sweater from COS, I bought it in 2019 and wore it only that year. It requires a camisole and I didn’t want to wear one for a casual outing. Now, for my freezing office it works well and I wore it today with my summer MVP, Vince pinstriped pants (2020). Shoes are the last year Everlane’s Day Glove and this year purchase, a Marimekko fabric shopper. I originally wore the sweater untucked with slim straight jeans but now like it with wide pants more.

Although it was not one of my 2022 goals, I push myself to either wear most of my clothes or to find a clear explanation to why I don’t wear it enough, e.g. my event clothes which I don’t wear due to lack of such events I don’t edit much, I’m looking for ways to either repurpose it (lounge wear, WFH) or to restyle it. Not all attempts are successful but this one looks OK to me.
