Bought these boots during the Amazon Columbus Day sale - $25 after sale discount and Amazon rewards points, plus free 2-day shipping with free Amazon Prime trial.
#1 - Nice and low-contrast to my legs, plus the little heel makes them comfy for me and also provides extra-anti-stumpifying powers.
#2 - Not going to win any ankle-slimming awards here, but I don't think that bothers me. There is a wee gap, but I don't think they're supposed to be skin tight. I would be able to add holes to the buckles and cinch the shaft an extra inch, if you think it makes a difference.
#3 - The one nose-wrinkling element: I *think* they have been worn outside. The heels look the tiniest bit used, and there is a little scuff on one boot. For $25, is this a deal breaker? Should I try to exchange for new ones? These things don't really bother RATE-me, but then there's the principle of the thing... On the other hand, a new pair might be a slightly different color and not match my skin as well, which is definitely the most important factor to me.
