If you wore your ballet flats with light use, 3 times per month, six months of the year for five years, you’d be at 90 wears by now. Since you’re nowhere close to that number, you would be well served to think about whether that’s because they’re fun special occasion shoes, or just a drain on your mental resources.
Or, you if the problem is just that you own too many shoes, and you need to go on a shoe shopping ban for a year or two and wear out what you own. When I have owned too many shoes, it was because many weren’t super comfortable, and I needed specific guidance (beyond usual basic recommendations) for my feet from my podiatrist. Also, I own 15-30 pairs of spare insoles of many varieties and frequently rotate which shoes get what.
