Hi all, I have a quick practical question.
I'm pretty good about picking over my wardrobe every now and then to make sure I don't accumulate unwearable items, with one exception: I have about five really nice chunky knit cotton turtleneck sweaters that have been languishing at the top of my closet for nearly ten years. I used to wear them all the time for work, but then we moved to California (where you don't wear that sort of thing!), and now, even though we've moved back to the great white north, I don't wear them. They still look good and are comfortable, but since having kids I can't stand the idea of not being able to take off a layer. I'm always hot.
Should I keep them? They're not really bothering me up there in the closet, and one day I won't have little kids anymore so there's a chance I might wear them. Or is it simply silly to keep something for 20 years without wearing it?
