So I started purging my closet and found a few things I'm hmm about.

#1 VInce cropped sweater
#2 DVF patterned blouse
#3 DVF dress
#4 Red-orange cropped leather pants.
#5 Missoni for Target mini skirt

If you are really wanting to purge, then to me the only real keeper is #2, the DVF blouse. And if you decide to purge that one I would very gladly take it! Lol, I love it!

The DVP blouse in #2 makes my heart flutter. If I thought it would fit me I'd buy it off you in a heartbeat, but I'm sure at my current size it would be too snug. I adore that piece.

I noticed all the tops on the chopping block are patterns. Anything in particular about these prints that you think you're moving away from?

I think the pants in #4 are fun, but I can also see it being a challenge to wear them fashionably when heels are not an option.

Sorry Claudia not selling my Etoile Isabel Marant pants, I only got them in August. I haven't even worn them enough to wash them.

My only concern with the DVF blouse is the sleeves are pretty voluminous.

Can you show us a better pic of the sleeves? It's hard to tell because one is hidden and the other is bent.

Sell everything if you don't like it any more. However, I do think #2 and #3 the DVF items have a timeless yet chic quality plus they look great on you. I especially like the easy, relaxed vibe of the silk dress. Although this might be something you can only wear if you leave Seattle (and if that's the case, purge).

I wear the DVF dress to August opera generally, where it's warm enough, but still has sleeves so I don't freeze in the hall. Maybe I should hold onto it given that dresses with sleeves are very hard to find.

I love the design on dvf blouse. See what you mean on the sleeves though. Maybe they can be restyled? If you like the rest of blouse, might be worth considering.

I am considering another closet purge and feel like when I really get down to the debating point, I am usually likely to let things go.

Keep #2 but take it to a seamstress. Unless you have many shirts that you would wear before this one. It looks really great on you.

#3 Sounds like you do wear it so keep if you love it - if you have other thinks you would prefer to wear, then sell it.

Anna, I think your choices here have much to do with where you see your style going. Over the past months I feel you have added "sophistication" to the mix so in the light of that #1 the cropped sweater reads a little juvinile to me.

#2 is a beautiful and quite classic. I have seen a lot of blouses with full sleeves here and I find it attractive and feminine. I think you can styke this in a way that is still fashion forward and de-classic the piece if you want to.

#3 the dress is stunning. fits you well and is very flattering. Dresses with sleeves are a rarity and I would keep this.

#4 really depends on you. Perhaps have a play with styling alternatives. Do you feel these pants are what yu want to be wearing now?

#5 I love this skirt, the pattern and colour but I don't it reads juvinile. I'm not sure it's a piece worthy of your wardrobe;).

No, no...please don't make those sleeves smaller on the DVF blouse. They're so dramatic and fab.

I think you should keep the dress, but agree with Deb's assessment of 1, 4 and 5.

I think:
#1 Sell
#2 I like on you and seems your style. Can't see the sleeves though. If you need to have it tailored to wear, I would probably considered consigning it.
#3 I would keep for your Opera capsule. It will probably not see a lot of wear, but enough to justify keeping.
#4 I would sell. Cropped pants are so hard to style and I think in your climate bare ankles are cold most of the year. These would look stunning with high heels, but I also think you have said you have fussy feet.
#5 I like it, and I think it fits with your style.

I wonder if you would get more useful feedback by posting keep/sell items without the brand names? That way you'd get our feedback without our "designer goggles" on. Just a thought. Or maybe I'm the only one with designer goggles!

Not reading the other responses first to try to keep from being influenced.

1 I'm wondering if styling in a different way with a longer layer underneath and some of your fab pants would save this. I like it.
2 and 3 Keep *if* you have use for them. They're more classic than your usual style but I like them on you, and lately your style seems to be softening -- when spring comes, might you want these?
4 Keep if you can make them work with your current lower-heeled shoe situation. I realize the cropped length makes it tricky.

I love the pants and would like to see them styled simply to let them take centre stage.
I also like the cropped sweater on you and wonder if you could layer a dress under or a skirt. If it's in great shape I wouldn't let go yet.

I am against the grain here but I am not crazy about the blouse. Sell dress and mini.

Did I say I loved the pants??

#1 and #5 look like hard work to style --- unless you have longer tunics or dresses that work under #1 already. I'd vote sell on them.

If you can find a way to work them without heels, I'd keep the pants (#4) --- despite the colour, they should be easy to partner on top, and the fabrication adds fun.

#2 and #3 seem easy, flattering and useful. So sell only if you're sick of the silhouettes and/or patterns.

Have skipped over the comments. I'm probably the total outlier, but I like the orange leather trousers (their color is great on you too), and everything else seems like it can go.
