I crashed and burned on my attempt to SYC--had a gift card to redeem at WHBM and ended up buying a bunch of jewelry on sale for 25-50% off. And I fell in love with their collection of ink blue pieces. What do you think of these--any of these worth keeping? I don't have a lot of jewelry so I could definitely use them. And I don't have many blazers either so I think I'd wear this one a lot. And I do not have many casual MOTG tops so that's why I picked the two other tops.
1-4. Ink blue jacket/blazer, size 4. Closes with little hooks. I really love this, especially the nipped waist--really goes with my style. I think there are some threads holding the ruffles together that need to be clipped (like when pocket flaps or skirt slits are sewed shut). Does this cropped style emphasize my tummy too much though? I paired it with my white Paige jeans (still need to be hemmed) and taupe heels.
1-5. Geometric patterned shell, XS.
4. Black pendant necklace
5. Ink stones multi-chain necklace
6. Clip on flower (is it too cutesy to put it on the jacket?)
7. Ink stone bracelet. I really like this one!
8. Black, silver and pearl necklace
9. Champagne pearl necklace.
10. Cream and red snake print cuff.
11-12. Blue and white casual blouse size S
13-14. Black and tan striped T shirt size S (I'm thinking of wearing this under my white and black trench jacket that DH picked).

OK I promise I'll be good after this!!!

ETA: I just realized these pieces are showing how I've been influenced by Parisian Chic more than I thought--the blue flower on the blazer, blue/black and white jeans combo, striped shirt, etc. etc.

Absolutely stunning jacket, GP!!! Love the blouse also. Keep, keep, keep it all. I can't imagine you ever being bored with a thing in your closet now. Tsk tsk about falling off the wagon, but technically you received the gift card before you declared SYC...? Okay, now that the shopping bug's out of your system...good luck! You look all set. Love everything... 8/9 are good basics but they don't make my heart go pitter patter like the rest.

You found some lovely things and the blue is wonderful on you. I especially like the geometric shell with the jacket and think the flower pin is great. I like the low contrast of the pin against the jacket.
It's hard to tell from the photos, but I'm not sure the jacket style or fit is the best for you. Photos #2 and 4 look a bit poochy, but I could be totally off. It may be better if the jacket were a little longer. Others will chime in with their thoughts.

Hard to see past the FAB fit of those white jeans!!

But yes, I love the jacket on you - no tummy in sight! Of the rest, only 7 and 9 grab my attention. 11 and 14 are kind of meh compared to your usual stuff.

Are you serious, Joy?! I think I need to go to an optometrist (though I have 20/20 vision, bless heaven almighty!) because I don't detect a pooch in sight. The jacket highlights a beautiful, slim yet feminine shape, and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Don't worry Joy--that's why I was asking! I agree #2 looks pretty poochy but I may be slouching too. The jacket flares out with ruffles from the cropped waist so I was wondering if that makes me look extra round because of that. But unless others agree it looks bad, I'll probably keep because I just love the style!

I like it all! Those jeans are fantastic. I wish I had a pair just like them!

I have one question about the jacket, though. The fit looks good everywhere but the sleeves. They seem to be folding up/creasing in the upper arm area. Are they long on you? Is that an alteration you would possibly have done?

I know I've said it before, but blue is a color that loves you.

Hmm, Amy, you're right they look a little wrinkled but I think it may be because my arms were bent in the pics? I tried the 2, 4 and 6 on in the store. The sleeves were too short on the 2 and too long on the 6 and the 6 was also too loose. I think the 4 was the best on me both size wise and sleeve length but I will have another look.

This ink blue suits you well! I like the style of the jacket, and that shell looks awesome. Jewelery of course it's fab, you have a great eye. The #11 blouse has a great print, but the shape look a bit weird. It's banded? Or maybe because it's a little wrinkled.

That jacket is great!! Seems we're dropping like flies. Can't say I'm not tempted by both this and Crazyone's new wool coat. But I'm going to K. I. T. for the team. Okay, so now maybe is a good time to wipe that slate clean and hop on the wagon again?

Everything about outfit #1 is perfect. Those jeans fit you like a glove wow... You must duplicate As far as the accessories, I like everything.
The last 2 tops are cute but you have much better items already. I'd say return.

I could see the jacket with a skirt; it seems too short with the jeans, IMHO. Is it cotton? Somehow the fit through the chest looks a little loose or wonky or something (in pic 4)...I like the boho blue and white floral blouse (but is it your style?), and the striped top as a layering piece. Just my two cents, of course!

I'm with Jonesy - you are lovely in this color, but the jacket seems a little off with jeans. it's very Anthro and feminine and obviously very you! Hiowever, Angie has spoken and I'm in the minority here on the fit issues.

Perhaps I've got a bit of poison eye because this is on the total opposite end of the spectrum from my style. I'm not a fan of woven jackets - I prefer knits or gabardines or softer fabrics that give with my shoulders.

You look gorgeous in blue - I love the jacket, and I love it paired with white, I am wondering if it might be better with a skirt? I'm far from an expert though!

The shell and the top in 11/12 I really like. I have a blouse like 11/12, it has a drawstring at the bottom - does this one? I tend to wear it not gathered at all because that suits my best, might that be possible? It looks lovely, though. 13/14 is a good basic.

Of the jewellery I like 6 (adore this!), 7, 9 and 10 the best, but it's all good.

Here's a pic of me in the fitting room wearing the jacket with a blue skirt and blue shoes...I didn't buy the skirt or shoes though because I though it might be too matchy matchy. Does that look better to you?

Yes, the top has a drawstring but I can leave it loose if that looks better.

I'm with Jonesy and Una here. Love the jacket with the skirt. If they had the skirt in ORANGE that would be a real great combo. (or an orange topper under it) I think it doesn't look too matchy because the fabrics are different (one is flowy).
