Keep or return: Zara loot

Completely unstyled and thrown on right after waking up.

No time to describe each item but let's just say I never expected everything to fit! Descriptions to follow - just wanted to get the photos up before we head out for a hike. All feedback welcome!

Love tops 1,4 a lot; love the red jacket, love outfit 5, love the color on 3 but it looks big- may just need styling. Jacket on 8 doesn't seem as much you- not UWP, unless you need it for more conservative days.
I like the color of the pants- I'm considering the pink Js, but picture 8 makes me wonder about the fit- hard to tell in the photo.

Top 2 and Blazer 6 are my WOW items! So cool! What pattern is the jacket? Polka dots?

I think the hot pink pants are pretty fun, too, but I prefer them with the tucked top as in 5. Your leg line looks much shorter in those with the tunics. In my head, they would look awesome with gray/brown/olive/tan/et cetera.

I love 3. The color, the cut of the top with the pants...I love it on you, Top in 1 is nice but not spectacular. Top in 2 looks great. Red top (4) is lovely but would like to see it over a dark bottom. Is 5 for layering? It's good. Love the jacket in 6/7 but keen to see what you would wear it with. It's a little different, but you can work it. I am sorry but 8 just doesn't seem to be that flattering. For me it's a combination of the color and shape...I'm used to seeing you in more edgy looks and this is just a little conservative.

Una, how's the quality? At the Melbourne meet yesterday we went to Zara and were very disappointed generally with the quality. Very few bought anything:(

Deborah, one of the things I read Zara skiting about was that all our Australian stuff would be "exclusive" to us. So it's possible that there are international variations in quality... what if we are getting the dregs lol

AG I don't know what to keep - that's awesome that everything fits! I must say I like seeing you with the tucked in tank (although your loose style tops look fab), I haven't seen you in such a waist defining look - projects body confidence and looks great!

Good stuff--I especially like 1, 3, 6 & 7. The red shirt is a beautiful color on you, but it looks like it might be a little too loose and big on you. The blue jacket in #8 is too boxy I think.

I like the red blouse and the dotty jacket. Otherwise they don't seem fab enough for you. The pants look too big, at least in the pics.

First of all: WHO again, remind me please, does not have a waist? Because the answer is NOT the gal in the photos above. Um, tucking is officially YOUR new homework. The simple black cami tucked in those trousers?! HOLY BODY and darling figure.

Okay, your Zara loot is amazing and how awesome it arrived so quickly. I checked in store for the hunter green polka dot blouse while visiting the in laws this weekend. It wasn't there, so I just ordered. Hope it fits as beautifully as all of your pieces and hope it arrives as quickly.

I await your commentary.

Love the red jacket and the tops—really, all of them, but depends what you have in mind for. Pants might be big? Hard to say from the pics. And agree with others about jacket #8.

I like the tops in 1 and 4, and I LOVE the red jacket in 6/7. The pink pants are an awesome color which looks great on you, but I'm not 100% sure about the fit... looks like there might be a little pulling or excess fabric or something in the crotch area, but I can't really tell. I'd also like for them to be a little slimmer cut overall. What is the fabric they are made of?

The only thing I do not like is the blue jacket in #8.

I really like tops in 1,3,4,5,6/7. As for the pants, I'm not sure. I like the top and pants together in #3. It reminds me of Angie's color-blocking with top and bottom of same saturation of color.

I like 1, 4, and 5/6/7. 3 looks a little big on you and I'm not sure I would wear it with the shiny pink pants...they look a little like pajamas when combined. And I don't think 8 flatters your figure. Are the pants comfortable? I agree with the others about keeping shirts tucked when wearing them to lengthen the leg line.

These colors are gorgeous on you. I do love the jacket in #8. It would be fun with black skinny jeans, I think. Love the pink pants on you and you have a beautiful figure.

Like - #s 2, 3, 5 and 7! That red and white jacket is awesome! I think #1 looks too long on you, #3 just kind of meh, and #8 has sleeves that are the same length as the bottom on the jacket - makes it look like a box - can you roll up the sleeves?

Now, about those pants. I just assumed that they were your loungewear - until I read some of the other comments on this thread. So, just to be clear - did you also order these from Zara? If so, what are they made out of? They look kind of satiny, slick in the photos. And are they wide-legged all the way down? I just can't figure them out! Sorry!

Hi everyone, and thanks for the feedback! It's been a busy day - basketball practice for the kiddo, then a hike, then a barbeque/birthday party for a friend... I just got home to read comments!

There are seven items here: pink pants, leopard shirt, striped shirt, black cape shirt, red tunic, polka dot jacket, and blue tweedy jacket. The quality of everything is quite good and above what I expected, although it's in line with the pricing. I was more impressed by the styles and sizing - I expected everything to be off in size, but I am a perfect medium.

Here's what I adored: the cheetah shirt, the striped shirt, the red tunic, and the red polka-dot jacket. The color of the red tunic in real life is my favorite and very hard to find shade of red, sort of a deeper blue-red. The polka dot jacket is hard to close, but I think I would wear it open. The cami top is mine (check those linebacker shoulders!). The black cape shirt needs different styling.

I actually love the pants and don't feel they photographed well. Here's what they look like on the Zara site:

I am not loving the tweedy jacket either, but I will try to style it properly before sending it back, along with the cape shirt and pink pants.

I love everything besides the tweedy jacket. the pink pants I'm not sure of (see below). 1,3,4, 6 are big winners in my book.

the pink pants look gorgeous with your skin color. my main hesitation was how much you would really wear them and whether this would be a frine item in your wardrobe or mainstay.
