Okay, so I'm having internet issues so this formerly longer post is going to be pretty short:

Are these keeps or back to the store? Both feel wonderful on but are not my typical style, so I am not sure if they don't look great or if I'm just unused to them. The desaturated purplish one is not photographed very well IMO so if need be I will reshoot.

Pardon the no makeup/bad hair. I wouldn't necessarily wear either with these boots/leggings.

I love the charcoal grey one belted, looks rally great on you! Have you tried belting the brown-taupe one as well? I think the wast definition like in pic 3 really looks fantastic on you

I like that first one on you! It looks more like a dress than a tunic to me (tomato, tomahto). It looks fantastic with that belt. What material is it? Looks cozy, like a sweater dress. The other one may need to be photographed again; it doesn't seem to be doing you any favors in these pics.

Sparky, you might be right, it probably is a dress! It's a heavy cotton jersey type material. It is indeed cozy but something I think can transition into spring well. I'll get new photos of the second top tomorrow when it's light out.

I like the first one a lot and the second one less also. It might be the picture quality though, as mentioned above.

I actually prefer #2. I only like #1 belted. Can we get a new pic of #2 in natural light?

I like #1 belted, #2 not as much; I think I don't like where the sleeves end on #2.

And I'm going to add to the opinion mix. I like #1 belted best. I'm not a fan of the fit on #2 and vote return.

I like the first one unbelted but I think it needs more sleeker bottom to balance out all that volume. I would wear it with leans or leggings and tall boots.
The second one I really like belted as in the last set of pictures.

Sveta - I think you are right about the sleeker bottom. I just threw it on, basically, but love the tall boot idea. I'm surprised so many people like the grey one unbelted. I guess my eye just needs to adjust to the volume. I will branch out!

MaryK - thank you for the compliment! I agree, the taupe one looks better belted. I think it's a matter of getting the "waist" of it settled at just the right spot on my body, otherwise I don't fill it out well, as Louise said.

I prefer the first one unbelted--when it's belted it seems sort of girlish, though I do prefer the sash belt to the wide belt. I like the second one belted with the sash a lot! I really like how you've styled it with the cargos and sash--it really livens it up.
