There's Jonesy! I always enjoy your comments and saw your garden photos, but now I'm seeing you and what an amazing introduction! These pants are an obvious keeper and you've proved your case. They work everywhere: casual, holiday work party, ballet, any concert, art gallery, etc. You wear them well and your butt looks great. I adore that Tibi top, #5-9 and #1-2. Really, it's hard to pick, because they look so good with so many things.

I also adore the one with the ink blue and the sweater for an evening out with friends. So understated yet sexy and fun. And the tree shirt!!!!!! Unbelievably great.

By the way, in case you are interested in styling advice from a 12 year old, my daughter (who was watching over my shoulder) also thinks they would be great with a skirt on top. Mmmm. I don't think you really want to hide that rear view. But to each her own!

Anna, Suz, Scarlet, and Astrid, thanks for the plaid support! This is a polarizing look, but it *does* have its fans! Suz, I will have to contemplate wearing a skirt with these, per your daughter's suggestions. I remember I did see some of that in the fall designer shows--your daughter is very avant garde!

When I saw Angie's blog post on plaid and sparkly I mutter no...don't see this one but Jonesy you have totally converted me.

Each outfit is absolutely gorgeous. I kept flipping back to the pictures to pick a favourite but I totally couldn't.

I think you could wear these to death and in a much more casual affair than you're thinking.
