I got a couple of new sweater-jackets ("sweackets") and am trying to decide whether to keep them. My plan is to get a few new toppers (blazers or cardis) for this winter, mostly to wear on teaching days. I have to teach 3 days a weak in the winter (the same group of students) so it's nice to have at least 6 different items in order to have a 2-week cycle. Our winters are cold so most of the time I wear at least 2 layers (shirt+vest, top+cardi etc.), and I also need the toppers to be non-bulky so they fit well under coats or puffers.

Up until recently, I had no jackets or blazers that fit well but now I have one that seems to get great reviews here and is non-bulky (this picture #8); I think this is going to be one of my toppers for this winter. Ideally it would be nice to find another blazer that is just as perfect but I don't have one so far.

If these items are not a 10, I would be more than happy to return them and wait until I find a perfect jacket instead. I am not sure the Halogen sweacket is the most figure-flattering on me (it seems to emphasize my lack of waist), and the Amber Sun jacket is a bit casual.
1-2 - Halogen sweater-jacket in "twist"
3-4 - same sweater in "moss green" (I would like to pick one color to keep, if any). This is the same size as 1-2 but it had not been washed so it seems to look a tad too big.
5-6 - Amber Sun military jacket from Nordstrom in olive. I also ordered it in a sort of burnt orange color but that item seems to be taking a circuitous route and won't be delivered for a couple of days.
7 - another cardi from Nordstrom I am trying to make decision on. I think I will keep this one, although I am open to any comments.
