Keep or Return: Spring Dress

What is the verdict? Also, I need some covering for warmth & some coverage, what about this white cardigan? I am looking for a crochet one, but not sure of which shape would look better with a dress. This is for biz casual work. TIA!

I love the colors in this dress. However, in the first picture the dress looks as though it might be a bit big on you. I like the idea of pairing white with the dress. Have you thought about a white cropped jacket instead of the cardigan?

My initial thought is you need a cropped cardigan or cropped jacket. White would be nice or blue denim or you could pick up one of the colors in the print. I like the white cardigan--looks sweet.

This dress is very nice on you. I think this particular sweater (although cute) doesn't quite work with it, though. Are you wearing a white camisole under the dress? If so, for warmth or to cover up? Just curious...

Nice frock Cloud 9! what I notice is that the white cardy is hiding your great waistline, which is very nicely shaped in this frock.
I agree with the others, a cropped 3/4 sleeve or short-sleeved shaped jacket -or sleeveless waistcoat would continue the positive shaping that you get from the frock. I think a colour, rather than white, would blend in particularly well, and be more useful with your other clothes - say lavender, sky blue or any light summery colour in the pink/blue/pale grey range, e.g along these lines

The colors in this dress are gorgeous! I think the white sweater looks good but do wonder if a form fitting layer might show off your figure better?

Lyrebirdgully, you are killing me with that jacket!!! I've been on the prowl for a short sleeve jacket for our hot summers. Thanks for posting that link.

Pattern and colors are sweet but I am not loving this dress on you: it feels too old for you. I would keep looking for that perfect spring dress which is out there for you!

I vote return, unless you love it. It's nice but not fabulous and I think it's partially because of the lace trim. It could have been cute, but it's ended up looking more dowdy than current. I do feel that you can do better. How do you feel about that,Cloud?

I'd return it. Too long, too crowded (pattern-wise) and, I don't know... it just doesn't look all right to me. The other dress (blue one) looks TOTALLY different than this and I think it fits you way better!
