I had to size up in these, they seem to run small...
Pros, love the color and the look. Drape is nice, color will go very will with most of my tops...

Cons, nigh 200 bucks. Not lined. Dressier than I'd like.

What say you? Keep, or return?

Jenava - I’m a fan of the color, but find the model pic looks quite a bit more tailored through the leg and ankle length. In contrast, they look perhaps too long or too short.

I looked back through quite a few of your pics and personally think for the spend they’re just ok. I like many of your other looks better for fit. My two cents. Maybe others will see them differently.

You are right, that's due to the sizing up to fit my waist. I rather like the extra room. I dont *think* it looks sloppy. I could maybe get them taken up a wee bit, but I'm actually kind of ok with the length too. So yeah, they arent as slim as I'd expected, but I dont mind them

I do agree the price gives me pause. If these were 75-100 cheaper I think it would be an easier choice. Likely for that reason, and the other cons, they will go back

I can’t see the quality and I don’t know your budget/financial situation, but it doesn’t seem special to me. OTOH if you have been looking for something like this for forever, nothing can take it’s place, it completes a lot of outfits, etc. ...

They look much more casual in the model pic, probably due to the length. That length reads casual to me. ( I have to say that I bought a pair of joggers In this color at the Gap for $60 after drooling over these. Based on the casualness of the model pic, I felt $200 was too pricey for my budget and the purpose.)

I think your pros outweigh your cons, unless the dressiness is a deal breaker. I think if the draping is nice, the fact they aren’t lined may not matter, given the color.

Hmmm, i rather like them, but not sure that i love them...are you willing to gamble? It looks like all the sizes are still available, which means this has not been a run away hit, so its likely to get marked down in October or November, if you are willing to gamble, wait and see if they end up marked down lower than the NAS price (as we have seen with items in the past).

Hmm. They look nice and have an appealing easy fit, but need to be either shorter or longer IMHO. An easy enough alteration to hem them a bit more. But you say they're dressier than you'd like. For that much of a price, I would think you could find other olive pants that suit your preferences better. I wonder how they wash, with those crisp creases.

I like them! KEEP. Easy and luxe fit! Good with all your pretty purples and pinks. Like this scarf.....

As for the length - it depends ENTIRELY on the shoes. Probably fine with shooties, some boots, and sneakers, but a little long for loafers, pumps, and oxfords.

Jenava, I think they look very nice, and the color is a perfect neutral. The fit is just the right mix of slouchy and dressy, at least to me.

I wondered if they were kid friendly and looked at the site. (They are washable). I read the reviews for these pants. There are some suggestions to dressing them down and at least a couple of people said they fit them longer in length than the model. One called them ankle length.
Will you wear them 200 times?
I like them on you. How do you feel wearing them? Do feel gorgeous and powerful. If so, keep. If just so-so, return and keep looking. The price seems high for polyester but Vince makes quality stuff. I agree with Angie that they will be so pretty with your pinks and purples. Have an outfit lab and try them with different shoes and boots, tops and toppers.

I like them well enough. It's really the price that gives me pause. I may gamble that they'll go on discount later. Usually NAS stuff goes back down at labor day. Not sure how thay will work this year. Still not sure!

Yes, I'm feeling like they are too pricey and probably need to go back. I dont mind the price if they were impeccable, but they arent high enough quality in fabric and construction to justify the price.

I think your Labor Day strategy is a good one as if it were me I would be willing to risk potentially missing out on these. The quality, colour and fit is nice but at that price I think you need to be thrilled with them, and I am not getting that feeling from your post. If you keep them and then they go on sale how will you feel? If that would annoy you, I would send them back.

I would return them if it were me. Pants at that sort of price I have to LOVE and have no doubts about. Most of mine under $100. I would see if they go on sale.

Without reading others' comments, my reaction was wow, they look great on you! Super fab. I like the fit you achieved better than the look on the model. You've got the relaxed menswear look that I love. So that's my bias--I'm a sucker for that vibe, and you are rocking it. Plus the color. But I also understand practicality, and you know how they will fit your life. Sounds like the question is whether they are the thing you want to splurge on or not.

If they are dressier than you like and the quality is not in line with the $200 price tag, I would say take a pass until you find something that suits your needs and lifestyle.
