Keep or return: Nine West dress

This is the Nine West faux-wrap dress from Angie's dress blog post. Whatcha think? I like it, but do you?

I'm half tempted to wear it tomorrow but want to make sure it's really worth it. I bat for "Team Always Buy On Sale" and I've made an exception this time. Also I don't want to add any dresses to my closet unless they are really fab.

The fit feels great - not tight - but I hope the ruching in the midsection camouflages rather than highlights my tummy, and the neckline is a bit higher than I usually wear due to my ample boobage. I love the scribbly pattern, which is quite different than anything else I have, and the colors are 100% ME. (SO many things in my closet coordinate with this dress - jackets, shoes, cardigans, scarves, etc.)

Apologies that I look so disheveled and unenthusiastic in the photos. I literally spent 13 hours in the office today. Ugh. Can you say "drained?" At least I had a package with a pretty dress in it waiting for me when I got home.

Okay, LOVE! That's a much better view of the neckline and very flattering IMHO. Those colors are beautiful.

Kari it's a great dress. The neckline is a bit different to what you normally wear but I think it works. Fit looks good and it really flatters your curves. I would keep. I think this will be a great addition to your wardrobe.

Kari, that dess is lovely on you, and, as you say - the colors are SO YOU! Just look at how great it looks with those pumps. I agree with Deborah that the neckline is a bit different from your usual, but I think it works. Keep.

Hi, Kari, I surely love the cut, the colours, the pattern and the comfiness of this dres, but not really sold on the high neckline together with the way how the pattern is displayed on the bust. (especially the lighter colourred print, displayed on the left side under the wrap). I hope you do not mind me telling.
I am also curvy, and have my eyes set on such details, which can flatter or be very dangerous.
I suggest you to try maybe some other pieces of the same dress-and pay attention to the lighter colours which can accentuate curves.
(I am very picky with patterned clothes, as IMO they can look completely different from piece to piece, so maybe there is one which is more flatterring)

Oh goodness it is stunning! It looks like a million bucks. I think the neckline is kind of high but that can be fixed with a longish necklace. A gold chain or pearls would work perfectly here. Love!
