I take back what I said about not liking the distressed leather on these. When they're on, they look great - the lack of shininess keeps them from looking like tap shoes. And they're REALLY comfortable.
I wasn't 100% confident about styling them, however. I noticed over the summer that a huge number of outfits I was putting together were black and white with red accents, so these shoes fit well into that, but I don't want to fall into a rut.
1: with bootcut jeans and a boyfriend blazer. The shirt I really wanted to wear under this blazer is in the wash - it's a deep red graphic T, fitted, V-neck, with black and gray swirly graphic on the front.
2: With one of my favorite outfits: skinnies, white button-down, and menswear vest. This button-down is on its way to the Goodwill; I need a nice almost tunic-length white oxford shirt, I think.
3: With skinnies, white lacy camisole, and black cardigan. I haven't put these pieces together before.
4: Same cardi and cami, gray flannel skirt, black microfishnets. This outfit doesn't work, I know. I don't know if the shoes just don't go with skirts or if this outfit is just blah or both. I felt like I needed a fuller skirt to balance the flat shoes - is that right?

Thanks everyone!
