Keep or return: Levi's denim vest

I'm looking for a denim vest for spring and this one is a nice light-weight denim. Please vote yay (keep) or nay (return). I think it fits pretty well, although it doesn't have chest pockets - I'm not sure if that's weird or not?

What a cute outfit! Love the stripes/polka dots/Cons--what a fun look! Oh, about the denim vest, I'm not sure--does it feel boxy? It looks nice but a little roomy in the body although it could just be your stance. I like the wash a lot and I like that there are no chest pockets : )

I like it. I'm looking for one myself and I actually prefer not to have chest pockets because of my IT shape. Where did you get yours?

Kelly- I think it's actually not too boxy - I'm pretty pleased with the fit, all in all (I think it's just my stance that's making it look that way).

AJ - it's from Levi's. I got it on sale - they periodically have pretty good promotions on their website (it was 30% off the other day).

I think the vest is cute, especially the way you show it with the striped top. It would look really great with a pair of jeggings or pants that are more fitted. Fitted bottoms require looser boxier tops while wider legged or looser bottoms generally require fitted tops. At least until things change again.

I like it! Since it's for spring/summer, too fitted would probably be uncomfortable. I love that it doesn't have chest pockets; pockets just distort the boob area, IMO. Good find!

Sarah, I love the wash of this vest, but not the fit -sorry :(. I'd like to see it follow your upper body in a more fitted way....so FWIW, I vote keep looking.

I'm with Queen Mum and Lynne, I think it needs to be just a bit more fitted at the waist. I like the looseness, it just needs a little nipping in!

I'm going to go with QM and say I'm not a fan of the fit. Or the wash, actually - I feel it needs one of those things to change in order to not look dated (although I know it's current).

I'm not a denim vest fan in general, though, so take it for what it's worth (nothing?).

Sorry, I'm not feeling the fit. It's too boxy and shapeless for my taste.

Then again, I like most everything fitted, with princess seaming or I won't wear it.

I'm ambivalent: do you want something loose to layer underneath, or are you looking for something more fitted to wear, say, with skirts and dresses? Did you try a smaller size?

It is a boxy fit but I like the way you've styled it. If you don't want it to be form fitting, I think this will fit the bill. I vote keep.
