So after returning the bow belt I stopped at the Factoria Rack.
Found this Vince leather shirt and Victoria Beckham blush skinnies. The blush is a warm blush.
Also cursed my high instep again. I found some amazing griege Rag & Bone flat moto ankle boots, but could not get my foot into them. Argh.

I like the individual pieces, just not sure I love them together. Of course shoes might tie them together. I just bought some blush skinny cargos and am struggling how to style and not be too precious. I'll be interested in what others have to say.

It's the Nordstrom Rack in Factoria, a suburb of Seattle. I have better luck there than the Rack downtown.

I love the blush skinnies! I vote keep 100%. Great for Seattle.

I am not sold on the top yet. It fits well, but it's quite severe. If you can soften the look, Anna - lets see you play with the style.

I love the jeans. The top comes up so high I think it's emphasizing your bust. I think it could work, but I think you need to work with the accessories.

I love those blush skinnies - so cool. I'm not sure about the top - I like the idea of a black leather top - but to me, this one seems to be too high at the neck - I wish that it would be scooped just a little bit!

I like the blush skinnies and I can see them working right into your wardrobe as a neutral. I don't care for the back pocket placement but that would be a styling issue if that matters to you.

Is the leather top comfortable?

I like edgey style mixed up to play off of something softer, sort of a Stevie Nicks look.

I too love both pieces!
I am scouring second hand shops for a leather top similar (think, Wilsons leather in the 90s?). I think it would be stunning with some extreme flare or even palazzo pants topped with an effortless mushroom colored waterfall cardigan.
At least it works in my head.

I like the top--it reminds me a bit of the current resort wear scuba-inspired looks that I've seen. I don't care for the skinnies, I think because of the color. Too close to a nude/pantsless look to my eye :).

I think the top rocks and you will be able to style it just right with your incredible accessories. I like the idea of the blush skinnies, but I do not like the fit or look of them from the back, with that said, maybe you are not concerned with your backside (like some others), but I don't find them flattering from the back.

This shirt would be so great with a midi. Like a saturated bright color or striped midi. I'd wear some kind of necklace because the neck is kind of high for me.

Did you ever get that perforated gray leather top? That would be cool with these pants, a white tank underneath and summer boots.

I love the idea of the blush skinnies, but I agree with Jonesy that it's a little too trompe l'oeil or whatever that expression is in terms of looking nude on you. I don't wear brown leggings/skinnies for the same reason.

The top is very cool in a superheroine way!

Love the skinnies! I like the top, but I do wish the neckline wasn't crew and more scooped as Marley said. Pairing with more feminine elements could soften that, as Angie noted. I hope you'll post photos of your experiments
