OMG Kari, the dress is stunning on you! The color, the fit - pure perfection. Love the blouse as well.
I also thought the jacket looks good, but I would obviously trust Angie.

Ditto to what Tanya said ;>

Angie and Celia, that absolutely makes sense. Thank you.

I also think I need a jacket that's a couple inches shorter since I would mainly wear it with dresses or skirts.

Good ideas about what to look for!

Good eye, Natalie! Yes, this is the Vince Camuto tube skirt, and I duplicated my ECCOs in black. I figured that the basic black pump would be great for interview wear when a colorful shoe isn't the best choice. They are so totally comfortable. I wish they came in other colors.

I'm not adoring the jacket, but it could be because I don't love piping. There's just something a little off about the fit to my eye.

The other two items are a million out of ten and must be kept! The blue dress is just perfection on you! Is there a dress you can't wear?! Sheesh.

Okay, back the jacket goes. I don't want a mediocre piece hanging around.

I'm so thrilled that the dress worked out! I was bummed at first because they ran out of this color and the emerald green shade that I lived in my size, but there must have been some returns because it recently came back in stock temporarily.

Love the Pleoine top. I have been looking for that color pattern to no avail locally and website sold out in my size. (I did buy a red and white patterned version). So comfy and easy to wear on warm day. Nice on you!

Dress is of course perfect!

I do like the blazer but could see it worn differently - with a jean possibly and I know you don't wear denim much. I would follow Angie on this one

Christieanne, the red and white version sounds wonderful!

That dress is truly stunning! And thank you, Kari, for posting the blazer. I bought it at full price a couple of months ago then returned it because I was feeling guilty about how much $$ I'd been spending on clothes. I like the fact that it is cardiganesque. Now that its on sale, my guilt is gone.

Your dress in # 1-3, styled with that beautiful scarf, is a "must keep" and will be perfect for your friend's wedding. I love it on you! I also like the dotted blouse in photos 7, etc. and think it's a wonderful addition to your wardrobe. It looks like Angie is helping you stay on "high style standards task" with the blazer. You can probably find one even better at the NAS, which is right around the corner.

I love the dress and the blouse and skirt. I do like the jacket but not as much as I like the other pieces. That blue is a glorious color on you!

Lynne, I hope it works better on you!

Yes, I think a jacket is on my NAS wish list. A full skirt suit if possible.

Amazing dress and great polka dot top! Very flattering in shape and color - keep!
I was not impressed with the jacket to the same level. My first thought was that it looks kind of frumpy buttoned up because the stance is too high even though it looks better unbuttoned.
BTW it is very satisfying to have Angie confirming my own feelings...:-)

Absolutely! I agree with you about the stance looking at the pics. A two button jacket with more of a deep V shape would look a lot better on me. This is where taking photos of new items can be really helpful - I see different things that way, especially in 2 dimensions rather than in the mirror.
