Keep or return faux fur jacket

My opinion, based on these photos, is that you are tall and slim and I'm not sure the jacket is highlighting that. It looks bit big on you (sleeves, swagging in back), and because it zips up close to the body, and the fabric is thick, it adds bulk.

On the other hand, the texture and color are beautiful, and I know how a tactile experience can erase other flaws! Maybe Express makes something else out of this fabric?

I am not a big fan. It is supposed to be a trendy, edgy item but on the contrary, it looks fuzzy and frumpy-ish, particularly the collar.

I think this looks too much like gear, unfortunately... It's the zipper and collar style IMHO - it looks like one of those Patagonia fuzzy fleece jackets.

I'm not feeling the collar or the arm length, but it's not you.... the arms on the model from the website look too long to me as well. It's a great color on you and the texture is cool, but I'd return it if I were you.

I am going to defend this jacket: this is what a short fur jacket looks like (to my eye). I love the color and the shape. My only concern is the bunching in the back?

I have a Rebecca Taylor faux fur jacket that is bulkier than this!

Well any sort of faux fur jacket is bound to be somewhat bulky...Having said that, I do agree that it looks a bit like a gear fleece. It seems sub-par in terms of the edgy/interesting route you usually take. I do love the color! Much prefer it unzipped to zipped.

I LOVE the color and the cut wouldn't bother me too much.. except for the zipper. If it buttoned, or maybe even had a different zipper, it might work better to my eye unfortunately.
