Keep or return: ezibuy dress & tunic

Yes ladies I've done it again - placed an ezibuy order. I'm not sure about either of these items so I need your help please!!!

Firstly the dress. Like the light fabric, think it'd work well as a basic for work. This size is both a bit too snug and too short though. Not sure if sizing up would make it too big though. Worth a try or look elsewhere do you think?

Secondly the tunic. Like the soft fabric. Can't decide if this is too clingy around the bum/hips though. Guessing because it's a knit it'll either stretch or shrink but not sure which. Also not sure about the colour, does it was me out? Maybe I should have just gone for black. Or should I give up on it all-together? It's definitely not flattering from behind!!!!

Honest opinions please. Ideally I'd like them to be 10/10s......does my hesitation alone mean that they are not?

Ha, Tam I have that black dress in my pile to go back to Ezibuy!! It didn't work for me but I think it looks great on you. It doesn't look too small to me but is it uncomfortable around the waist band? Also, the length in your photos doesn't look overly short but maybe it is the angle. I found it quite short also. There's not much of a hem to let down either. Can you get away with that length for work? I think it would be a shame if you couldn't hang on to this one!

I love the side of the tunic but the front and back seem to sit a bit funny with the ruching?

I really like the dress--it looks great on you and I'm thinking it would be a great layering piece. I like the idea of the tunic, but something about the fabric and the color makes me think loungewear or jammies. If you are asking for a ranking, I would give this a 5 (you can do so much better!).

the dress looks great on you. I think the length is fine, and it doesn't LOOK snug, but only you know how it feels.
I agree with Jonesy about the tunic. The fabric looks really thin and flimsy. One or two washings and it could really be looking thrashed.

The black dress looks great, I vote keep. The gray tunic, I vote return. The color is only "ok" on you, and it clings a little too much for my taste. I think you can do better.

Echoing what everyone else said. The dress is really nice. It looks like it fits well through the shoulders and the hips. I worry that sizing up is going to make it look too big. Not a fan of the tunic--agreeing that the fabric looks too flimsy and clingy.

I really love the front zipper on that dress, Tam! It doesn't look too snug from what I can see in the pictures, but you're the best judge of that of course. Have you done the sit-down test with the dress? (i.e. do you feel it's too short then?).

I agree with the others on the grey tunic, I'm afraid, the material does look a bit flimsy.

P.S. Hope you didn't hurt your arm too badly?

I like the dress on you, except for one thing ~ in the picture it looks like the material doesn't lie smoothly on the sides where your hips are? Not sure if that's accurate or I'm just seeing things in the photo. I had a similar problem with a skirt that I returned b/c the seams did not lie smoothly there and made the skirt stick out.

Like someone else noted, I like the tunic from the side on you, but think you could do much better. This tunic does not do you justice!

I don't like the way the tunic hangs on you. Think you can definitely do better. But the dress looks good, and definitely gives you waist definition, so keep it if you feel comfortable in it

The dress is lovely! It has a very trendy tulip shape bottom! The tunic is not a ten, but It could work with skinnies and a tuxedo jacket and heels to go out.. Or a strong shoulder black jacket and a long necklace!

Well the ylf ladies have spoken! I think its unanimous that that tunic goes back!

As for the dress, I think this size really is too snug for work. I need to be able to be quite physical at work if need be, so constriction is a no go. I am worried the size up will be too big, but only one way to find out!

An I want to see you in this dress too!!!

And Inge you are so observant! I fell off my pushbike over 2 weeks ago and the grazes on my elbow, palm and ankle are still healing. Ouch!!! At least I am down to bandaids and not proper dressings twice the size now!

What did you end up deciding Tam? Are you keeping the dress for going out? Sorry to hear about your accident - I'm glad you are on the mend.

Ouch to the fall off your bike! I sent the dress back today sorry but it really didn't work for me!! I really liked the top half but the skirt was too snug and stuck out on my hips and bum - not what I need!!
