Keep or return draped Zara top?

I am debating on this top.

This is it on me, opinions?
Not really styled- I am not sure how i would wear it, lots of possibilities in my wardrobe.

Hmm, I had not thought that it overwhelms me, is it too dramatic?
I would keep everything else very simple.
I need to decide soon. I have been leaning towards keep because it can work well for events and casual days.

I like how it looks on you. I think maybe what Elizabeth is seeing is that the drape really takes center stage. It would be a good idea to keep everything else simple, as you noted. But I think the top has a lot of character, and I would keep it if you can style it with already-owned items and if you feel like it's part of your overall style.

The colour is wonderful on you. I wonder if you could pull the cowl down a little, similar to the way it's shown on the model? I think it's a keeper.

Thank you everyone, this is the kind of top that I would wear because of its dramatic effect.
I have many events that require a bit of a statement.
Theatre, art openings- even review sessions in an art school.
I do not know if this will date but this drapey thing works for my lifestyle and the color is one that is hard to find.
I just do not want to look foolish or look like I am trying too hard.

I really like it. I think the drape is unusual and would pair so well with what you have on, and other simple bottoms. Colour suits you well. It doesn't look like you are trying too hard at all. Not at all. Casual and elegant at the same time.

If you don't keep it, Im going to cry .... loudly lol. This is a beautiful top. The colour is a no brainer for you and the style is so fab. I agree this will work across various occasions. And now I want one to wear with my cullottes It's a keep from me.

Jean may I ask you about the sizing? I find Zara small. Also how sheer is it? It looks share in the photo on their website. Do you have to wear a camisole underneath.

I love the shape and the color is beautiful on you. It might just be my computer, but the top looks just the tiniest bit sheer to me. Is it sheer? If so, I still vote keep and wear it with a cami or something.

Sorry greenglove, got distracted by DH returning home from a few days away, then dinner out with the family. When I looked at the photo, I see the shirt, not you. That's what I meant by overwhelming. There's a lot of fabric. However... the colour is wonderful on you, and I see that it wil work well with your lifestyle. Perhaps with a sleeker, simpler bottom?

Deborah, I have on a small.
The medium was too much fabric.
It is not that sheer.
The picture looks like skin is showing but I think it is a weird thing happening with the reflection on the fabric in the photo.

The color is fab and the style is not the typical cowl. Since it create a wide hoxontsl line up top, I would try styling it with slim bottoms-- not skinnies per se, but more slim structured pants or skirts so things sort of taper down from the lines of the top.

I think it's great on you, I love the drape and the color. I'm not as sure about having it tucked in, because I like the line the neck drape creates and the tucked line beneath it seems to come too soon afterwards if that makes sense. I think you can find many stunning ways to wear it as part of a minimal outfit.

A definite keeper, imho. The color is amazing with your hair and skin tone. The drape is perfect and the style looks versatile enough that there are numerous ways you could style it. Love it!

I like the color on you, and I love the dramatic drape.

I cannot help on styling it, though. I think i would keep the bottoms plain and a bit tailored so all the focus is on the top.
