Some new items - should I keep or return?

1-3 Boden raincoat. I tried this one before and it seemed way to big. This seems the right size.

Skirts from Talbots:
4-6 Contrast lace. I love the color and fit on this one. My hesitation is that there are small shiny beads on the skirt - you can sort of see them in photo 6. Is that OK, or scary? I'm usually not much for sparkles.

7-8 Black lace. Not loving the fit on this one, I'm thinking return.

9-10 Light blue tweed. I liked this one in the catalog, I'm not sure about it on me, especially the color. What do you think?

p.s. I won't wear the skirts with this tshirt in real life.

I like the contrast lace skirt and the beading doesn't bother me. I agree that the black lace skirt is doing you no favors. I'd have to see the tweed skirt styled before I could pass judgement.

I really love the contrast lace skirt; I'm kind of meh about the rain jacket, and I'm not a fan of the other things.

I like the raincoat and the first skirt. I think the raincoat will look even better with skirts + boots.

I really like the lace/bead skirt on you and wouldn't worry at all about the beads. I figure if an occasion calls for lace then it will be bead appropriate too.

I'd return the other lace skirt - it is not as flattering.

I also like what I see of the last skirt - the pleating at the bottom looks interesting. Can you style it for pics? I'm not very creative with color ideas, but it's neutral enough to let other colors really pop.

I am still not as impressed with the coat. I like the white with the piping, but it isn't as flattering on you as I would hope for with a lighterweight coat.. Maybe I'm overlooking something. . .

I like the first lace skirt best of everything! Now that I see so clearly how slim you are, I do not find the coat flattering, and the other skirt isn't all that exciting. The color of the coat is not speaking to me either. I say keep the first skirt and look for better options with the coat.

I vote keep all but the ill-fitting lace skirt.
The trench is really cute on you and I think it's whimsical and great for Spring
The lace skirt is just gorgeous and you'd be crazy to return it!
The tweed skirt seems like it could be incorporated into a lot of fun outfits because it has both a pale color and texture. I'm thinking pair it with a Navy blouse?

Hmmm, it's interesting that opinions are mixed on the raincoat. I'm also unsure.

I like the beaded skirt and these beads would not bother me a bit. I would even wear it to the office with a denim jacket and boots!:-)
I am on the fence about the raincoat (it is kind of cute but not completely 10 IMO) and do not really like the two other skirts.

Contrast lace skirt is great. No on the black lace, I'd say, return the raincoat and opt for something colorful that flatters your brown hair. The blue tweed skirt is a good fit but I just think I like darker colors on you, especially for bottoms.

The contrast lace is amazing on you! The other lace, not so much. I think the final skirt is a great basic: great fit, perfect length. I think the shade of the color in botttoms is not near as important as the shade in the top as it is close to your face. If you have tops/jackets that look (and make you feel) fab, it's a keeper.

It sounds like the contrast lace is definitely a keeper, and the black lace is definitely going back. I'm still on the fence about the raincoat and the blue skirt. Argh, it's not easy being indecisive.

I like the last skirt. It's a nice, understated, blank canvas skirt and I like how it isn't dark. Most people wear light tops with dark bottoms, so it's nice to see it switched up.

The raincoat is a pass for me. I'm not crazy about the neckline and the pocket placement. It also just seems kind of rumply and unstructured.

I vote nay to the raincoat and keep to the blue skirt. The skirt fits lovely and is a nice basic to play with for casual or dressy styles. The raincoat, I like the trim detail but the material does not look crisp to my eye.

I am echoing everyone's sentiment about the beaded lace skirt! It is a 10 on you. The beading is subtle and tasteful (I'm with you on the glitz and bling all over clothing these days -- too much). I could see you wearing it for years, that is, if the beads don't come undone. The length is perfect.

I like the last skirt but feel it is a few inches too short for your best length.
