Keep or Return Blouse and Polka Dot Sweater

Orange bow blouse from Nordstrom. I will need a darker cami under this. Orange blouse with polka sweater. I thought these would be good spring to summer pieces. Honest opinions please!!

Cami has loads of styling potential and color works for you! I like the sweater too, though perhaps not together with the cami. But please keep them both!

I DO love you in orange and that's saying something since its a hard color for a lot of people to wear. I can see this top with a pair of nice white jeans in summer....with a cami of course.

I would add a darker cami underneath the orange top as others have mentioned.

I LOVE the polka dot sweater! I like the tie blouse, too, but think that maybe a darker orange would be better. That one seems to blend with your skin a bit, but maybe it just looks like that in the picture.

I love the polka dot sweater! What fun! It fits you great too.

While I like orange on you and the style of that blouse is cute, I'm not crazy about how transparent it is, which makes me suspect it's rather flimsy. I wouldn't want to have to wear a second cami under it. Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of a sleeveless top? How do you feel about the fabric and wearing a cami under it?

I think that they're both really cute. I think you should try the darker cami under the blouse to see how that might work. Otherwise, you could wear it with white denim with a white cami and it would be very cute.

Two great pieces. You do orange well and the polka dot sweater is very fun. I second the thought of spring light bottoms with this top. The blouse is very pretty and flowy.

I really like the idea of a black and white polka dot sweater, but I would like to see it buttoned up so that I could see the shape of it a little better. In the picture above, it almost looks too large to me - but I know I can't really tell until its buttoned up!

Lisa the cardigan is from Banana Republic. I'll try and get pictures of it buttoned up tomorrow. Ths cardigan was on Angie'slist of polka dotted items.
I need to try and find an orange cami to go under it before I decide.

Like them both, pending review with a nude cami. I think an orange one would leave your un-cami'd parts winking too much. My only hesitation is the same as others that once you have to add a cami you lose the cool floatiness appeal of the top. Reminds me of Angie's post on remembering NOT to buy too many sheer tops. I do like the color combo and the polkadots a lot.

Out of curiosity, did you try the white version of that cardi too? I loved the fresh look of that combination. But the black will look better with white bottoms.

You wear both well, Debbie, and I think Angie's idea is great to pair the sweater with white bottoms. The orange top, too, would also look outstanding with white bottoms, so it seems like you've got two winners!

I've never worn orange much but with all of it out there I definitely want to try it!
