Keep or return: animal print BCBG dress (plus a bonus for Angie)

Picked up this mesh BCBG dress at TJ Maxx this afternoon. What do you all think? The print is rather crazy (blue/black/white/purple/yellow tiger stripe-ish) but I rather like it. It looks better in motion, I think, hence the weird pose in photo #3. There is some weird elastic in the upper arms which I would prefer were not there (it's a bit constricting but nothing major) - but can you even tell there is elastic there? Apologies for the terrible mirror photos... this is why I don't do WIWs!

Also, bonus for Angie: I am officially eating my words. A while ago, you posted about flowy tops that are shorter in front and I emphatically said "no way!". But here I am wearing one... apparently the trick is to find one that is long enough that it won't tent in front. You look mega fabulous in that dress, Diana! You adore bright vibrant clothing so big thumbs up from me because it adores you back:). I see no problem with the arm elastic. And very cute pose in #3. I bet this dress will look fab with your blue toenails.

And I love a gal who owns up and eats her words! That's part of the fun that we all have with fashion. Just look at how many times I've eaten my words!!! - skinnies (although in 6 weeks I was hooked and still am), gold, harem pants. So there you go.

The dress looks great on you. I have that top too (same print) and love it. I bought it, returned it and rebought it (when the price dropped $30). Doesn't if fit wonderfully? I had to size down a few and could have gone one more.

Hee, Janet, no you are not the only one. I saw it too, but I figured it's just my imagination getting the better of me. I think this is why I prefer the dress in motion. It doesn't really bother me enough to be a dealbreaker though.

Jjsloane, yes my Anthro top is also a size smaller than I normally wear. I actually tried on one that was 2 sizes smaller in the store and it fit fine too, but I really wanted this print, which was only available in the larger of the 2 sizes.

Oh, I love this dress. I don't notice any elastic in the arms. Since it bothers you, could the elastic be easily removed without compromising the dress?
