Keep or return, and hair suggestions?

I don't have any light colored jackets and I feel I need one to booked my light colored boots (camel and cognac) so I tried this one from Esprit. It's beige and I think I would prefer camel but I like the cut. There's a bit of pulling when closed but I'd wear it open most of the time anyway.<p/>Also, I'm going to get a haircut tomorrow, any suggestions on what might work with my face and hair? Usually I just go for a layered haircut. I was thinking of trying a chopper layered style but as you can see my hair tends to be a bit all over the place after some time so I'm afraid that it'll just look messy.

and I apologize for the lighting situation--my mirror fell off my closet door so to take these pictures, I propped it up on my sofa, which is a different location. Fortunately the mirror didn't break, but the frame did, so I can't hang it up anywhere anymore.

I like the cut of this jacket too. The pulling could be a problem. Did you try a larger size? I agree that it looks really good open though.

Your hair is beautiful! Do you have the same person cut it each time? I would ask the hairdresser for suggestions for what might work with your hairtype. Maybe other people on YLF can advise you who know your style better.

I agree. That the cut of the jacket looks great but it does seam to be pulling a bit. As for the hair if you saw mine you may pass on the opinion.

I loooove the jacket - to me, it's a modern classic item that will add a bit of polish to anything you wear (and I think it's what Angie would call a 'workhorse'!) If it's uncomfortable when closed...would you want to go one size up? If there's stretch in the material, you may be ok, though. I would try the next size up just to compare.

Your hair looks naturally thick and beautiful. What look are you going for - a drastic change of image (the shorter choppy layers sounds like a big change), or perhaps just a trim to keep the bounce fresh? I think it looks great the way it is - maybe a trim, and then play around with hair products and half-up, half-down, or twists, etc., before doing anything more different!!!

Love the jacket on you. I don't know if this will work for this particular jacket, but If there is room, you could translate the buttons a tad.

thanks for all your comments, everyone! I hardly ever keep my jackets closed so I'm unsure whether the size matters as it fits very well in the shoulders. But I'm still unsure whether I should keep this beige jacket instead of looking for something that's more of a camel color.

but I don't want to change my image that much, either. It's just that I feel like I *always* get the same haircut.

Oh...I see now, crazyone! Long layers (as seen in the link you posted) will look beautiful! Not drastic at all - I was thinking you meant MUCH shorter razor-cut layers! Never mind me...it's 2 am here and I should be off to bed! That said, def. keep the jacket!

It's a very nice jacket - but it's a little snug, not just when it's closed. A size up will probably look better all round.

thanks, everyone! Since it doesn't fit perfectly, and I'm not entirely sold on the color, I think I'll return it and hold out for the perfect tan or camel blazer.
