keep or return, an exercise in sizing!

My loft order came in. I only ordered 2 different items, but in a whole lot of sizes.

First is the v-neck cardi in military green: http://www.anntaylorloft.com/c.....pe=Regular

sizes pictured are S, XS, SP (I also got the XSP but the arms were WAY too tight)

Second is the velveteen blazer in cocoa: http://www.anntaylorloft.com/c.....pe=Regular

sizes pictured are 2, 0, 2P, 0P

Which sizes are best? What's worth keeping?

Also, sorry for the outfit I'm trying them on over - I should have changed to avoid creating the awful xmas tree look in #1-3!

Oh, and the button on the blazer has white paper on top that I haven't removed.

Finally, I might be taking more pictures of the cardigans... maybe fully buttoned and unbuttoned? What do you think would be helpful?

I like cardigan #3. Love that color! I think the petite blazers are too short in the sleeves for you. Honestly, I can't tell the difference between the first two. Maybe 5 fits better in the shoulders?

Anyway, I like them both!

It is a bit hard for me to see the fit differences beyond sleeve length, as well. I do love the velveteen fabric!

#3 seems to fit you best, and I *think* #7 of that batch.

#3 and #6 look good to my eye. Some of the blazers (especially #5) are pulling in at the button.

ok, so it looks like #3 is the cardi winner. edit: not really, now it's between #2 and #3.

I agree with Mary that the sleeves on the petite blazers are too short, but QM and elpgal like their fit better... any more input on the blazers?

Cute blazers--will you be wearing them buttoned most of the time? I think I prefer #5--it looks more fitted. Are they equally comfortable?

Kelly, 5 felt like the best fit when I was trying them on, 4 was too big and the sleeves on 6 and 7 seemed too short. I'm not sure if it would be buttoned or unbuttoned more... maybe I should take more pictures...

My vote is for #3 and #7.
ETA: I see the sleeve issue on #7. I would say then go with the 0 regular.

I'm going off the beaten path here. I like #2 and #5. I like the longer length of the cardi. I know that cardigan and it's supposed to be a bit longer - though not as long as a boyfriend cardi.

And I agree with those who said the petite jacket sleeves are too short.

I agree with Stylemama on the cardi. I actually like 3 the least. 2 gets my vote for the cardi and 5 for the blazer.

I thought there was consensus on the cardis so I didn't throw my 2 cents in but fwiw, I think #3 looks a tad short. When I first looked at them, I liked the length of #1 the best. I prefer my cardis longer so that may be affecting my opinion.

I took some more pictures of the cardis, and I'm just not wowed by them, especially how they look from the back. I think I'll be returning all of them and looking elsewhere.

(1 and 2 are the XS, 3 and 4 are the SP)

I'm pretty sure I'll be keeping the jacket in size 0 (#5 above), but just to be sure, here are some more pictures. I need to make sure the color works with the pants I would want to wear it with...

First set of photos I like cardi in #3 and blazer in #5, the last few the sleeves are too short for the blazer.

Second set of photos I think the cardi's are still fine. But if you don't love them then back they go. Closets are too small to have non fab items in them.
