Even if you decide it's uncomfortably unusual you could just have the back shortened a little so that the difference isn't as extreme. I wouldn't eliminate the high low hem altogether because it adds a lot of interest and sophistication to an otherwise not so unusual item.
I don't like many denim skirts and I'm kind of over high low hems and still I have to say I think you look a-mazing.
Speak of amazing, I can't think of another instance when a change of hairstyle has been more flattering.

Ah! approprio I had understood all wrong! You were referring to my son's generation and not the Fluevogs lol! I thought that maybe the new generation of Fluevogs were a disappointment ROFL! Yes, I agree with you, the new generation (the Milleniums and the Post Millenniums, sometimes called the C generation by experts) is indeed difficult to relate to. We appear so hardcore in our past behavior compared to them now, and they, conversely, think we were a bunch of neurotics! It might stem from their ability, nowadays, to go online, create avatars for themselves in all kinds of virtual social situations (like this very one we are having here); they don't feel the need to wear their rebellion as much as we did - like your cousin wore his eyeliner - your cousin must have been so cool - , because they have more venues for communicating their defiance, their revolt, or simply their disagreement to the world, starting with Reddit, Facebook, etc. Anyway this is what I witness in my son, in my students (young adults). But you can find just as much mutiny in them, be it a little more dormant at times.

smittie: you are so right about young boys being risk-averse in terms of appearance! It has come to mean so much for them if you are "different": they don't want to be perceived as "special" or "different", it's like the worse insult for them.

Salut Krishnidoux,
the skirt has already been discussed and sorted out, and I love it on you as well. I just wanted to comment, like CocoLion, on how awesome you look! I remember some posts of yours several years back full of angst with regards to your body, but you appear to have left all of that behind. You look beautiful and confident! And how wonderful that your son is back living with you.

So nice to 'see' you, and that skirt is indeed a winner

You are hilarious, and I will be quite put out if you don't keep that stunning skirt! You are changing my poison eye.

I love that whole Vetements thing it has going on in the back.

Thank you all!
Chouette, tu es chouette. Merci!

That is one fantastic skirt on you!! Wow!

Holy cow! You look amazing and you must keep that skirt!

Missed this post earlier but I had to join the chorus. Wow! You look great!
