I got these last year but only wore them once or twice. What do you think? Give them a chance or let them go?

i think it depends on why you didn't wear them more, and when you did wear them, was it for a special occasion?
are they uncomfortable? is it because that heel is not an everyday height?

I rather like them. There is a hint of retro/ladylike that I find very appealing. I would also ask if they are comfortable? If so I think they are great special occasion shoes, or I would wear with them with a nice pair of black slim leg pants for some height and drama.

First question: are they comfortable? If not - so long!

Next question, if comfortable enough, why didn't you wear? If those reasons don't exist, wear 'em!

They are so high I can't imagine they are comfortable, but that's me. What Una asked is the point.

Thank you all for your thoughts and for making me think about the most obvious question of 'why?'

I used to wear a lot of high heels; it's only in the last year or so that I've moved somewhat away from then. I wouldn't wear these for a lot of walking but they are certainly comfortable enough for the office. I don't see these as special occasion because they are wool and don't feel dressy.

Perhaps it is simply the Mary Jane style that makes them not feel like me. And since I do have a lot of shoes, I guess I just always chose something else. Yet they certainly appealed to me on some level when I bought them! I think I will keep them in my closet for another season and see if I reach for them.

Sensible decision! And this thread has just reminded me to put my own Mary Jane work pumps on (I am trying to get my foot accustomed to them bit by bit)
