keep or give away

This is a new dress I bought from Asos, that I had planned to return but I missed the deadline so I'm keeping it (or giving it away to anyone who'd want it here if you all determine it isn't for me)...what do you think? One flaw is that the elastic on the sleeves is uncomfortable when it's on my forearms, so I scrunched it up above my elbows. The other flow is that it is poofy and short. Ignore the wrinkles...I'd have to iron it before wearing.

You might find that you like the length better once it's ironed. It would be very cute with high-heeled sandals in the late/spring and early summer, and then the length might not be such an obstacle. I like the poufiness, because it is contrasted with the fitted bodice and cinched in waist. Also, I think that the color looks very flattering for your skin tone.

I say keep it!

Keep! This color looks great on you. Get the sleeves altered. I did this with a top I had and it was a very inexpensive fix. I lost less than 0.5 inch in sleeve length.

Hmmm, I think once it's ironed you will look very similar. It is short but you can pull that off, if you wish!

I think its a KEEP if you are comfortable with the length. The color is great for you - and the I LOVE the "poufiness!"

I like it better on you than on the model and I am not trying to flatter you. On you, it hits a little lower on the waist (closer to your natural waist) and the skirt is a little longer on you. It just needs to be made comfortable in the sleeves and it needs to be pressed. You could add a belt to this and it would look kind of 50s, in a good way. It will be really cute with dark tights and trendy shoes.

First things first i say iron that baby! You might find yourself liking it a bit better. I think it's a cute and very versatile dress, but if you hate it, I'll totally take it off your hands

I am on the fence. I agree with nicole: iron and play with it first to see if you truly like the style and fit. Right now, I can't tell if the skirt is poofing in an odd way or if that is just caused by wrinkling.
