Keds wedges

I've just bought these shoes ( but the background is white, not red), wore them the whole day yesterday and they're super comfy (my feet are pretty fussy):

I like them so much that I'm considering getting two more pairs:

What do you all think? Are they cute and cool or dorky and I'm being blinded by how comfy they are? Could they work for smart casual?

I posted something very similar in the past about these shoes Tanya. You are not being blinded by comfort. They are adorable. I don't know about smart casual though. I think the material and colors make them more casual.

Love these, Tanya. Still too hard for my foot unfortunately. (Somehow the flat Ked seems softer for my fussy feet). BUT! They are fab and stylish in a casual way. They are too sneaker-like for smart casual. Maya is right.

Thanks! I suspected something like that. Well, in that case, I think I'll get just on more pair. Now I have to decide between the green one and the navy print mary-jane.

Hi Tanya,
I have the green Keds! I originally bought the red ones that you have in white but didn't like the look because the red background with the white sole--they looked like orthopedic shoes! But I should have thought to get them in white--I bet it works without the contrast of the white sole with the red background.

Anyway, I returned the red ones and got the green ones instead and they are so, so adorable. The plaid wedge is really cute--I love how it peeks out when I wear jeans. I would go for them over the navy Mary Jane for that reason. Although the shape of the Mary Jane is cute too!

I am also going to Coach to try these on today--a similar idea: http://www.coach.com/content/p.....ory_id=903 I am going to try them on (in white) today.
