Karen Millen London

I almost never shop at Karen Millen, but my sister does occasionally. She has some nice dresses from there- I agree, the dresses are the strength of this brand! That black dress would look killer on you, Rute. Did you buy it?

I can see that, Angie- you're very Karen Millen, actually! For the last few seasons they were doing a lot of zips, snaps, studs and other silver detailing. I think it sort of turned me off for a while, since I don't do silver

There is a Karen Millen store in the Short Hills Mall (I'm looking at Shana while I type that) and I always admire the coats in the store window, but I have never been inside because I am obviously not their target client for a variety of reasons...but I would definitely shop there if circumstances were different. Maybe in another 10 years.

Its one of those shops that I always like to browse around but never actually buy anything! I always love the clothes on other people but find the sizing a bit difficult for me. Hope you get the dress Rute - enjoy!

Karen Millen is one of my favourite shops too. I haven't tried on anything there for a while, but maybe I might try again.

They definitely have a gorgeous collection this season - I know what you mean about the studs and zips Ele they kind of put me off too.

Angie, it's not like I'm vehemently opposed to silver, but it doesn't look great on me. Lots of it tends to turn me off a bit. Likewise lots of shiny gold, though- my best metal is a soft, matte gold.

Rute, I'm laughing at "a kid in a candy store". I feel like that in Whistles.
