I just finished my first week of my new job!
I absolutely LOVE it so far, it has been a full on week and I can see I am going to be very busy most of the time but the work is interesting and engaging and creative, with lots of variety.

I worked my butt off this week so I decided the first 3 days pay would be mine to go shopping with.

I spent $189 on an LBD from Diana Ferrari. This is the MOST I have ever spent on one item of clothing, but when I saw it on the mannequin I knew it was for me. It is beautifully made, drapes perfectly and fits amazingly. I can see it will be really versatile as it's work appropriate (neckline and length are decent) and dressy enough to wear out, plus it is black so that adds to its versatility.

I didn't die, the sky did not cave in and I do not have buyer's remorse at all - I am just thinking about all the ways I want to wear it
