Heh, Una. Yeah, they have been cracking down recently. Used to merely ticket cars parked on the "wrong" side of the street during Monday cleanings. Now they've been more merciless, but I had completely forgotten that besides my own car, my husband's temporary driving workmate would not be taking him on Monday! And he had parked out on the street rather than in our lot...sooo, double penalty. (I think the only serious downside to our city lifestyle.)
Anyway, yeah, Zap, I agree that New York would probably be 99.999999% as good (though come on, Paris has to count for something, right?) But seriously, NYC would be great. But over two or three days rather than just the one day Fashion Week gathering, which is amazing too...but we need more time in NYC! It could happen that I'd be able to get use of a really nice apartment that could sleep a handful of people...a girl can dream....we never did the photo lesson either--imagine doing it around the city?
