Just ordered this dress: thanks, Inge!

So this dress Inge linked had all the hallmarks I love: asymmetry, metallic, sleeves, and it is not too long - I called customer service and got exact measurements. It's not a color, but it's not really black and white either. The model is my skin tone and coloring. And in the last few hours it WENT ON SALE!

I ordered two sizes and if one fits I'll be wearing it to Sundance with or without leather leggings. I also ordered the Piperlime dress thanks to Gryffin spotting it back in stock. I may need to have a Dress Battle - fingers crossed that one or the other works!

Extra thought: if the budget allows it, why not keep both dresses?-)

I really like how they have styled it with grey layers. I think it will look great on you especially with the blue tint in your hair.

I can totally see you wearing this dress. I am not sure a competition between the two is fair, as this style is so completely different from the Piperlime dress. BOTH could be fabulous wardrobe additions, but they are completely different.

I can't wait to see this on you. I worked with DKNY customer service to locate the cozy I wanted and found them to be excellent. They made me, a first time customer, made me feel like a like time valued client. Was your experience with them the same?

I got one in azurite and yes I love it. This deep,dark blue-green has become a neutral in my wardrobe. The beautifully soft cashmere/silk blend seems to be almost magical in its ability to keep me at just the right temperature. And I have had so much fun trying all of the different ways you can wear this. There are all kinds of videos on youtube with forty-eleventeen different ways you can wear this (and other sweaters of this type). It's my new fashion toy.
